Jump-adjacent but wtf weekly young jump has a manga about a guy getting locked into a chastity cage by a student lmao. Has this mag always been this raunchy?

I'm frustrated that the new manga has lots of red flags which smell of axe or low sales dragged out til chapter 50. First he put his big girl fetish in again in the first chapter prominently. People are going to be turned off early on. Then there are lots of little things I could say but mainly: regardless of the setup it feels like the kid gets a magic sword that can take out a huge monster kani for no reason. This is not even near the same tier of "undeserved" as Boku no hero. Also just inconsistent feeling writing like the whole story we see him wanting to be part of a heroic tale and then in a near climactic moment he says "I don't care if I go to Valhalla" etc. I just want to save everyone. Which could be a good character moment but instead just feels like he's indecisive and not committed. If you're going to spend that long on certain aspects of his character it would have been better to just give it a straightforward payoff. He should have just gone "I WILL save everyone AND be a hero etc." His editor is probably new. I wonder who it is. There's some editors that I have a hateboner for, I'm assuming it's one of them.

I just finished watching Dead Dead Demons De-de-de-destruction! Was Ontan only a shy girl at first because when she's talkative, her autism, shows? Or are her autistic behaviors just caused by fragmented memories from the original timeline giving her mental illness? Did they ever lezz out in the the yuri robot wars timeline, or did things stop with just that awkward kiss? Is there more to be learned in the manga? The ending seemed to have some second form of actual physical time travel taking place with a version of Ontan and Kadode the viewer has never seen dropping off an Iseboyan manga from their timeline into a world where that manga doesn't exist. What was the overall point? That in their hearts they'll always be together regardless of circumstances? Is the wacky alien genocide criticism of how people in first world countries don't care about all the slaughter their governments commit? Are the peaceful aliens all connected in some psychic world after death, or was that just a delusion from the alien that was dying? Why did everyone focus on the alien ship and not very much on the even larger floating anomalous sphere the ship came out of until it was about commit TOTAM HUMAN DEATH? Did Ontan ever fuck Oba? Was it SUPER GAY?

I just finished watching O Maidens In Your Savage Season. It was better than I expected, but things around the end felt pretty wishy washy. Also, it felt odd that no one mentioned the probable reason Izumi wasn't attracted Kazusa was because of the Westermarck effect since they grew up together from such a young age. They sort of figure it out intuitively by the end, but they never named the phenomena.

It's strange, we should be halfway through this show but I still don't see the background plot building up yet. This is really starting to feel like a long advertisement I'm viewing for an upcoming gacha game.
