Update, I’m on chapter 44 here. The battle between Seigen and Fujiki is really tense. Best samurai battle I’ve read out of any manga so far. Favorite moment in the series has to be the seashell scene. I don’t know if they would’ve been able to truly bond given their backgrounds but they did both start as low class peasants. The misunderstanding of what Fubuki said reminded me of Guts leaving the Band of Hawk after what Griffith said
