Anyone read the LN version here? How was the fights compared to the LN, is that just how it was like in the novels? Because I liked the manga versions better.

I don't know exactly why, but the MC here irritates me a bit (not too much) while I really liked the Parry autist, despite on the surface, both of them being pretty similar. Shinmai Ossan gets more confident after a couple episodes so it is not really the same, but I like him too. All the girls here are top notch though so I am still enjoying it.

Selena ASS Also, if the rocks were melting far away, Beryl's boots would have melted straight away, regardless of how nimble he'd step. The flight scene is probably from the LN, since the manga kept it on the ground. It makes more sense given that the monster was aerial in the first place. But the resolution with Selena jump attacking, regardless of how nice her ass is, felt weak. Plus the fact that the monster was in fact *afraid* of Beryl.

I just recently picked it up and I'm really enjoying it. I like the fact that it might seem like a harem at first glance, but so far only one character seems to show actual romantic feelings towards the Mc. Its not even real either, rather just an emotionally immature student confusing feelings of admiration and respect for love. His other students don't seem to be romantically interested in him, maybe it will change later on. I would've liked to know but it doesn't seem like the Light Novel were translated. Another thing I like is his resistance to face challenges is mistaken for humbleness by everyone around him. Its not though and itisn't inserted to appeal to Japanese readers. He never beat his father, not even once. So he's not confident in his swordsmanship. And he almost died when he tried to venture in a dungeon alone. Both experiences made him who he is. Lack of confidence in an Mc can be pretty annoying, especially when the evidence to the contrary is presented at every event. Its not in this case, His confidence almost got him killed at one point in his life, and while he recognizes that it's important and encourages his student to be confident, he doesn't seem to be able to over come his past experience. It's an actual flaws in the Mc that will probably take the entire series to overcome. Also the OP is pretty hype. It's been a while since I got to enjoy an OP as much I do with this one. I never skip it.

While I appreciate a fantasy sword with a fuller (even if huge), the blade getting thinner near the guard makes zero sense, that's where most of the stress ends up being in the first place. A recipe for making blades not made out of unobtainium break. I preferred Myui's child prostitute outfit. And is that a fucking EDGE BLOCK I see? Horry sheet. Especially on the thin part. The animators don't know the first thing about sword fighting. I liked the whole church battle a lot more in the manga. The ricasso of lot of Zweihänder was long enough to be used as a second grip.
