I can't be the only one who feels like the writing and story is getting worse and worse. Nomamoto went from somebody who hates ayy lmaos, but also loves something good to eat, to somebody who'll betray her criminal cohorts at the promise of food from aliens while Kitami, who's now the MC instead of Nomamoto, keeps making basic mistakes that now caught up with him publicly, presuming there's no ass-pull that gets him out of trouble in the next couple of chapters. I'm also not liking the Idol story arc, particularly because the idol herself is such a BPD bitch that right now it's impossible to even get a good idea of her character aside from the fact that we are supposed to dislike her. One chapter she was grieving for her dead friend at her grave, the other she goes "Umm, ackchyually I secretly hated her" and tried to call the police on Kitami, and now Kitami says she only said that because she got mad at him and she decides not to call the police, only to out him at the damn concert without any legal enforcement around?

I am still not sure what Backbone is supposed to even add to the story. I understand she is supposed to be some sort of hindrance, but she is only an obstacle when the author remembers to put her in a scene, otherwise she is a non-entity. We don't even know how her boss reacted to the fact that she still hasn't figured it out how they dispose of the corpses.

What are those aliens even made of, if Kitami can kill them all so casually? I understand they are the equivalent of alien otaku, but even then it was like what 20 to 1? Are they made out of marshmallows? Also Kitami, just kill her already, you are too far gone, there is no going back at this point.

So what do you guys think is the deal with Lily? Is he some sort of space cop, space gangster(he knew that guy they assassinated at the hotel), or a random alien with a gun that cares for his friends? My money was on space cop/detective but now I am not so sure.

I really like the fact that they don't show the mole under his left eye, keeps things really ambiguous and feeds into the paranoia Kitami has.
