I read this recently and found it very enjoyable. I started reading because someone said the author(s?) were inspired by Sora no Woto. You can kind of see it, but funnily enough I think they miss a lot of the charm points and sort of resort to superficial similarities rather than trying to hit same tonal points. I don't mind because the good parts about the manga are far outside the SnW influences and it's clearly just doing it's own thing. There's something a bit campy about the entire manga that I can't exactly put my finger on. And sometimes it feels a bit thin when it comes to worldbuilding and characters. I think those are the things that keep it from being "great" and just "very enjoyable" territory for me. And characters tied to it, like Akira or the Pope, aren't my favorites by a long shot.
