Do you think your opinions on part 2 would change if it got animated? I feel like a majority of peoples problems with it comes from how quick the chapters read while being biweekly and 24 minute episodic format would probably fix most of those problems. I feel chainsaw man is one of those mangas thats better read on a volume by volume basis as opposed to chapter by chapter

But yes, i think watching Part 2 will be a better experience than reading Part 2 ongoing

the only thing I could think of on this panel was Despicable Me >>68164 >Denji saying "But if I kill them there'll be fewer people who like me" was a little too explicitly stated for me. But it's not out of character for Denji to be blunt about his desires. >The panel of Yoru saying "Asa was popular too, and she was forgotten in no time" is probably the only good thing about how Asa's celebrity phase was offscreened. >Denji was kinda styling on fakesaw I don't see how Denji and Yoru beat Falling. He's got the durability but no firepower, yoru has firepower but can still be dismembered with no regen. I think Falling could probably tank her bangs. Don't imagine that being resolved outside of Shiga putting Falling back in her pokeball. But we already had a Falling fight, Denji vs Fakesaw is more interesting. A chapter of Asa/Yoru vs Falling could be cool though, especially if we see changes in her response to trauma.

But it's not a very interesting design. Sorta reminds me of Capcom's boss designs circa RE5/6 where everything was a soup of tentacles/tar/biogoop. Fakesaw's being carried by his minion peanut gallery atm. Looking forward to finding out who this mystery nigga actually is.

Reading Part 2 reminds me of being a Democrat supporting reading sprite comics on smackjeeves. Lolrandumb nonsense that the author makes up as he goes, where characters hide under a bed or explode just to be funny.

Saw the movie twice, once normally, once in 3d (seeing Power's ass animated in 3d was worth the entire price of admission both times). It was pretty damn great, far better than the anime. Was still very cinematic despite smoothbrains who like the first season saying that that quality would be lost with the artstyle change. I noticed that Ushio completely stole form himself at one point though - the theme that plays during Denji and Reze's fight after killing Typhoon is almost a one-to-one ripoff of DVMN from Devilman Crybaby. Kind of funny - rest of the soundtrack was phenomenal anyway so I don't really care too much.
