I just checked the wiki, apparently he released two new gaiden volumes around 2024. They sound like literal filler despite being two volumes. >The Phantom Ship of Katze Plains (カッツェ平野の幽霊船) is a special edition novel in the Overlord series. Written by Kugane Maruyama and illustrated by so-bin, it was released on September 20, 2024 to September 26, 2024. It details Momon and his team of Darkness' mission in seeking the Ghost Ship of the Katze Plains. From skimming the info on the wiki there's not even anything that would progress the plot or worldbuilding like fighting a dragonlord or something of the sort. It's unironic literal filler. Damn it hackuyama, why the fuck are you like this?
