What are some anime/manga that are impossible to find subbed in English? There are a lot of obscure children's anime that subbing groups from 08 and below attempted to sub, but ultimately gave up because of shitty bandwidth and shitty Japanese. It's no surprise that kid's shows like Kaiketsu Zorori are only noticed by pants shitting furries in the west, but there are still so many Japan-exclusive kiddie shows that will never get subbed. Even big names like Shin-chan never get any English translations outside of the 90s-early 2000s episodes.
>>265 I'm very surprised that Doctor Slump only has subs for like 50 episodes or something like that. I'd have thought that with Dragon Ball autism, someone would get autistic enough to sub the entire series about that one character that shows up in two episodes of Dragon Ball. I've started watching it recently, but am going slow, hoping by the time I catch up, someone will sub a couple more episodes.
>>265 Hard to find certain anime torrent batches but often nowadays more anime are getting official english releases. However a lot of them are from Funimation & people shouldn't give them money.
I can't find subs or even RAWs of Croket anywhere online

Saint October is one of the earlier ones I remember only finding partial subs
>>265 I actually have a list >Ring Ni Kakero 1 The first two seasons of the anime and the first 3 episodes of the Shadow Arc OVA have been subbed, but are very difficult to come by outside of private trackers (Genuinely convinced the subbed Shadow episodes just don't exist anymore at this point), and it's quite sad since only 9 episodes are left that need to be subbed for the series to be finished. The manga also isn't translated beyond Chapter 27, with the sequel manga having just 1 chapter translated into English. A shame since this is probably one of the most important manga series for Jump and heavily influential, as well as being the precursor to the mangaka's next series, Saint Seiya. >Dr. Slump This one will be fully available soon. >>266 is wrong and it's actually only 100 or so episodes away from being fully subbed and the reboot anime from just after Dragon Ball GT ended got a surprise full sub drop a year or two back. >Cyborg 009 (1969) The last 10 episodes remain only in Japanese. >Tetsuwan Atom Only 4 episodes got subbed if I recall, and then there's 100 dub only episode. A lot of the most important shit like director debuts are Japanese only still. >Gegege no Kitarou (1968) Thankfully this one got picked up and is getting consistent releases. >Sasuke It had like one or two episodes subbed and then dropped. A real shame since it looked really good. >Ninpuu Kamui Gaiden Not subbed, absurdly important samurai anime as well. >Umi no Triton Basically not subbed, it only got really bad MTL subs clearly done from Japanese to another language, and then to English. >La Seine no Hoshi A major Tomino anime, not subbed. >Raideen The Tomino episodes for this got subbed, but not the Nagahama episodes. >Ganbare Genki The one I'm most upset about. I've only seen a couple clips but it looks like an anime I'd love (if you couldn't tell with Ring ni Kakero being the first one I listed), and it just hasn't been touched. Sucks. Hopefully as more older anime get subbed, a lot of the big influential works get their time to shine. The 3 images I attached all only hover around 30~ episodes a piece, not bit 100 episode behemoths like Attack No. 1 or Tetsuwan Atom, yet they remain ignored.
Yakyuukyou no Uta Captain (TV) there were some more baseball series, but those two i remember

>>265 Moomin's 1990s anime is almost completely unsubbed and the dubs all cut at least something from it. Granted, the Finnish and Swedish dubs are fine, but the actors are clearly not trained like the Japs are.
Only the first four episodes of Kyouryuu Boukenki Jura Tripper have English subs, as far as I know. Only the first two of Nessa no Haou Gandalla. AFAIK only one episode of Maeterlinck no Aoi Tori (which had Leiji Matsumoto character designs) has subs, and it's not even the first. As a 20th century isekai fan, I want to watch all of them, but my language skills aren't there yet. If they get there before we get subs I'll try to sub them but I'd rather someone else do it first.

>>19062 Also it has a partially lost 70s and 60s anime. Golgo 13 also has a largely untranslated, recently unearthed 1970s "anime" (more like a slideshow but it's still good) that was lost media for 50 years. I think the raws are on Nyaa https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMgbNP49E_M
Kum Kum.
The Acro Trip manga has only 4 chapters translated, although the anime has proper EN subs and covers about 60% of the manga.
>>265 Can't find subs much less raws of Hamtaro. Only dubs.
>>2746 >>Ninpuu Kamui Gaiden >Not subbed, absurdly important samurai anime as well. Fuck me, that show has a latino dub at least, but no subs in any language? Fun Fact, the latino dub is made in the US and its hard to find in higher quality and its only available rips are transcodes of transcodes badly synced to bootleg dvds because the show was heavily censored when it was being dubbed, just like the Intertrack redub of the first 60 episodes of Dragonball. But did you know that two mexican VA's actually started here!? Guess who they were.

I am a Touch Detective/Mushroom Garden fan and literally almost no one has uploaded this series subbed or unsubbed which is disappointing (so technically the hd version is partially lost media) >there’s just a dogshit quality upload that’s cropped which is very disappointing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRZaqTgl8CA[Embed] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3DxMlhMXvA[Embed] < I did find a DVD on Amazon tho, so let’s see if anyone gets it and rips it to maybe youtube or archive and hopefully adds subtitles to it https://www.amazon.com/Nameko-Friends-World-DVD-JAPANESE/dp/B01N9PYIX4
>>69541 Oh yeah, Anya’s Japanese voice actor was in it for some reason
