Oh captain my captain! Seriously though I've always admired this man and the Arcadia as a whole since I was a kid. Just overall really inspiring to me plus he's just really fucking cool.

Do you mean for the fight scenes regardless of it's quality as an adaptation? Do you mean most emotionally impactful when I was younger? I know I'm pedantic but I can't even decide between any of my top 10 or their order honestly.

Gurren Lagann, I feel it doesn't really need much explanation (and I'd go overly long if I did go in-depth) but I'll keep it simple. Each time I watch it I learn and feel something new, and I feel it is the pinnacle of the medium on pretty much every metric I consider important.
