Sup faglords, should I buy a new Panasonic Toughbook? My current laptop was decently powerful enough a decade ago but it's aging badly now especially since the build quality is pretty shit in all honesty to the point some of my key's no longer work so I basically have to use a external keyboard in order to not lose my mind having to use the on screen keyboard. Also several of the ports are made of some shitty Chinesium meaning
(((Samsung))) cut corners because two of my USB type 2 ports and my headphone jack broke despite me being very careful to not force shit in them. Not to mention the paint is peeling itself off plus it's not very user friendly when it comes to servicing it, I've opened it up to swap hard drives in the past but it's... let's just say it's very convoluted and basically the polar opposite of what companies like HP or Lenovo do by just giving you simple HD trays that are easy to insert and screw in, mine requires moving a bunch of cheap poorly molded rubber paddings and and wires around and putting it all back together is annoying.
Sure just upgrading it with a new SATA SSD and more RAM would be cheaper but given it's current state I'd rather just buy new guaranteed sturdy machine and then either sell my current shitty
(((Samsung))) laptop as scraps or give it to a friend because it still has a decent i7 processor and old AMD graphics card that could be used to upgrade an older more durable machine I guess.
I'd probably just do it myself but for one thing I don't want to risk fucking up the CPU and two I'd have to buy a heat gun and soldering tools for something I'd probably only do once and I'm gonna dump money into tools it's gonna be something I need regularly not just a one use thing.

Fuck you it's a low traffic board.
Also I don't really need the biggest screen in the world, whenever I'm not on the go with my laptops I usually have them hooked up to a monitor at home. Not to mention the majority of games I play are kinda old and I would immediately nuke the hard drive of any Wingblows faggotry and install something like Linux Mint instead since I'm not interested in feeding Bill Gates my data so he can use it to build a one world government or whatever.
Please share your thoughts on the matter fellow A-nons.

Biking around in Tokyo looks pretty comfy, I envy Nipponese infrastructure sometimes.
