I originally wasn't going to give this thread the time of day, but this situation actually caught my attention when it popped up on the main /abdl page.

I appreciate what you're doing with the Sagebait.
Now let me be brutally honest about the topic at hand:
I do not give a flying fuck that this person is trans.
I do not give a flying fuck that this person is in full AB fetish gear. (Although pro-tip, if you're going to do something like this, toss a long coat or some other thing into your vehicle so that you can "cover up" in just this sort of situation.)
I VERY MUCH GIVE A FLYING FUCK THAT THIS ASSHAT WENT THE WRONG WAY DOWN A FREEWAY I'VE HAD TO TRAVEL ON, CRASHED HIS/HER VEHICLE, FLED THE FUCKING SCENE, AND COULD HAVE KILLED SOMEBODY IN THE PROCESS! (The fact that no one else was actually injured is irrelevant, the fact that they could have been very much is.)
As far as sobriety goes, let's take this person at their word for the moment. According to their own account, they "fell asleep at the wheel on the way home." Oh okay, no big deal, they just dozed off while wielding a deadly vehicle. Are you people defending this out of your fucking minds!? Assuming good faith for the moment, the fact this person by their own admission FELL ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL, means they made a sober, CONSCIENTIOUS DECISION to operate a motor vehicle while knowingly in a state where doing so could cause harm not just to themselves but to others around them. I'd argue that this is actually worse than if this person had made their decision while impaired via drugs/alcohol.
Now just to be fair, let's assume bad faith for a moment too. It's entirely possible that this person was stoned or drunk as evidenced by the slurred speech in the video. If you've never had an alcoholic/substance abuser in your life at some point, I wouldn't expect you to be aware of this, but alcoholics/addicts will frequently lie about their abuse, especially in situations like these. How do I know? I had the misfortune of working with an alcoholic who pulled this kind of shit all the time and seemed to single-handedly keep the local scrapyard in business with the number of vehicles he totaled. Of course according to him, he never drove drunk, and each of those accidents was just that, an accident. It is entirely possible that this person is engaging in the same pattern of behavior as my former coworker, and that "I fell asleep at the wheel" is a way to avoid having to say "I was driving drunk." Either way, this person DROVE THE WRONG WAY ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY AND PUT PEOPLE'S LIVES IN DANGER, which is the part of this that actually matters. Sober, drunk, stoned, or otherwise, at the end of the day this person's actions could have killed someone, that's what I have a problem with, not the fetish gear, loaded diaper, or sexual orientation.
As a side note, was I the only person who noticed what appeared to be used AB/DL diapers littering I5 as this person fled the scene of the accident and continued in the wrong direction down the highway? While far less serious than driving in the wrong direction while impaired, (and yes, sleep deprivation legally counts as driving while impaired,) if those were indeed AB/DL diapers left on the roadway, you can add littering to the list of violations this person was engaged in.
As far as the subject of doxxing is concerned, I'm calling bullshit here. IF YOU POST YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION PUBLICLY, YOU DON'T GET TO BITCH THAT YOU WERE "DOXXED" WHEN PEOPLE POINT TO YOUR PUBLICLY AVAILABLE INFORMATION AS A MEANS OF IDENTIFYING YOU WHEN YOU'RE CAUGHT ON CAMERA ENGAGING IN POTENTIALLY CRIMINAL ACTIVITY! If this had been AB Rando #5238943895 and someone in his life recognized and outed him, that would be a different story entirely, but THAT'S! NOT! WHAT! HAPPENED! HERE!
This clown put his full name on his PUBLIC fetish social media pages for the whole world to see before this incident occurred, and people recognized him and shared publicly available information. This is perfectly legal and completely ethical. People who've gathered other information about this person elsewhere that may be using it illegally or unethically are a different story, but that's not what's going on in this thread.
Lastly, has anybody actually forwarded this information to the proper authorities in Cali? Seriously, we've got a name, video, and social media links for a person who was driving in the wrong direction on the freeway. Has anyone passed this information on to the authorities, or are we all collectively assuming that someone else did?
