As a general rule, i think /b/ is meant to be a horrible place simply because it has little restrictions, possibly due, itself, to a lack of meaning or direction for the board itself. Your best bet is to not go to /b/ and instead find another, more tightly controlled board, perhaps /r9k/, and your second best option is to become a good poster and drown out the retarded niggers.

People try hosting community events to circulate users around more. 8chan could use another community migration or two--that is how 8moe has stayed afloat--that is by migrating other board communities here rather than by individual intake of users. It makes for a very insular community because the word doesn't get out very much and the intake is from community migrations like the vtubers and hisparefugio.
