Merry christmas. Would be nice to have a Christmas wallpaper. I don't want to use the same photograph with the giant ornament I used last year.

Christmas Greetings, anons! I thought it would be a fun idea to make some video game themed winter/Christmas puzzles for anons to pass a little time with. And at the same time, it would bring a bit of 8moe vidya culture to this festive board. I plan to share one every now and then, while being sure to post some on the day of the actual /christmas/ event itself. For the first puzzle, I have a custom Strands game for anons to play. For those unfamiliar, Strands is a lot like a word search. The goal is to find all the words hidden in the scramble of letters. Words do not cross over one another, nor do they share letters. There is one large word, called the Spangram, which is the theme of the puzzle. It gets its name from the fact that it starts at one edge of the puzzle and ends at another edge. Finding it early will help you solve the puzzle much faster. The title at the top of the puzzle gives a general clue as to what the theme is. If you find enough words in the scramble that do not relate to the theme, you will earn a hint towards one of the actual words. Playing is easy: just download the .json file and go to this website: https://strandstudio.thegoodboi.net/play Choose the .json file to import then play the game as you would an official Strands puzzle. Have fun!
>>5230 The json file immediately spoils the answers. Are you sure there isn't something like an obfuscation or encryption option for it?
>>5231 Well dang, I didn't realize that could happen. I just tried to do some obfuscation, and as far as I know things are formatted correctly. But the site where you play the puzzle doesn't seem to accept obfuscated files. There is another option, which is for me to upload the puzzle to the site and get an access code, though that means the puzzle will be stored permanently in the owner's servers. Of course, there isn't anything secret, personal, or NSFW in the puzzle, but I thought the json would be better for just keeping a sense of security. I will keep looking into it, but for now, try not to open the json file, anons.
