Anonymous 11/30/2024 (Sat) 14:52:10 No. 42255
Teen Titans Go aired a special episode today to celebrate reaching over 400 episodes. >After "Teen Titans Go!" wins the award for being D.C.'s longest running animated series, a jealous Superman banishes the Titans to world of stop-motion in order to get their show cancelled. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ULTbMkTd8E https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d51Xdq7zGNY

>>42255 I don't care if they're doing stop motion, faux or otherwise. I'm NOT watching Teen Titans Go!

>>42255 I just hope DRUMPF doesn't rain on their parade unlike OK KO.
They make a lot of episode addressing the criticism of their show being an inferior cashgrab leeching off the original, but have they made any addressing the criticism that they obsess over people criticizing their show which is ironic to say the least given what they say about their critics.

>>42265 https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=7uCIEuxrzTg https://inv.nadeko.net/watch?v=RME491yZcj4 does anyone got the clips of the Thundercats crossover with Teen Titans?
CN is still alive?
>>42255 the success this series has gone onto garner has genuinely broken me. i no longer have the energy to hate it anymore. it has outlived its predecessor by over 4 seasons, multiple films, and nearly a decade. Nowadays you rarely see the fans of 03' rally against it anymore either. Worse yet are the number of zoomers who've embraced it as part of their identity. It all just reminds me of the cruel indifference of entropy. The only redeeming quality the series has is a nice art style, but even that is ruined by the awful writing, the garish colors, and bad visual gags. At the very least I can dream of and draw my idealized version of the series to cope.
>>42441 it's a ship of theseus these days. it's being kept alive by decade old reruns of TAWOG, Regular Show, and TTG by day and floated largely by Adult Swim and Toonami viewership (along with nostalgia rerun blocks) buy and large.
>>42276 I included a link to the behind the scenes featurette aswell just to remind others of the sorts of people responsible. https://youtu.be/2qi41rHz4ps?si=3iFQx5s652PSHVyN https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MC4c6rYnXpM&pp=ygUVdGh1bmRlcmNhdHMgcm9hciBjbGlw
>>42595 I forgot Adult Swim just started showing old reruns of Dexter's Lab, Powerpuff Girls and Ed, Edd, & Eddy. Guess it makes sense when their core late twenties/early thirties audience of stoners would have grown up with those shows (Still makes Boomerang kind of redundant beyond showing old Hanna-Barbera cartoons.)

>>42596 >>Pic >Some dumbass toy manufacturer had to pay the license for such cancer and pull out a quite retarded one trick gimmick <Or another waste of resource for Time Warner
>>42605 boomerang dropped all the legacy CN content to become the "looney tunes, scooby doo, and hanna barbera rerun network". You're lucky to see anything outside of that on there nowadays. Anytime I stop by a hotel I enjoy it for a few hours but end up killing time until checkered past comes on the air. I really wish Me TV toons broadcasted in my area, it seems like the way better deal. I've said as much from the start but the only stuff Me TV toons is missing is classic capeshit. Last I heard they got the rights to Superfriends and Fred Wolf TMNT so maybe that's changing.

>>42630 >the last genuine success to come from DC animation is TTG >the movie toyline sold really well >pops, plush, toys, and apparel are all still readily availible we live in hell and our only hope for a future are catman and skibidi toilet.
Why do kids like it anyway? TTG is the kind of show I would have found boring at the age of 10. Is it actually for toddlers?
>>42682 >Why do kids like it anyway? It's not the kids watching it.
>>42687 This, kids are watching youtubers and skibidi toilet. Cartoons are being watched by 20-30 year olds and only sustained by merchandise.
>>42682 Loud noises and bright colors. With how low cost it is to profuce, it's effectively CN's spongebob. >is it for toddlers Pretty much, though Im sure grade schoolers get some milage out of it too. >>42687 I know no adult fans of TTG. Im certain its just the kids watching. Who else could be?
