Homestar Runner.net: It’s dot com Anonymous 04/17/2025 (Thu) 18:12:49 No. 45613
New Homestar Runner Toon coming in hot. Let’s go back to a website https://homestarrunner.com/toons/backtoawebsite
already watched that, it’s the best type of nostalgia bait.
>>45613 Has Homestar Runner EVER had a bad toon? I struggle to think of any.
>>45613 It's still alive?
>>45706 They come back every few months or so with a new something since 2014. A toon here, a board game there, a Steam release somewhere
>>45759 a plush here a vinyl record there
God I love Homestar Runner
>>45613 >mfw I "updated" my browser because it was choking on cloudflare >it broke the ability to enable flash >it also crashes constantly and it's not possible to roll it back without losing data >i have another browser that can run flash but it's slow as hell. probably because the version of flash is too new ugh. at least Ruffle isn't as bad now as it used to be.
>>45676 Bad? absonot. Mediocre? here and there. You can tell in the Compé era they were burnt out, to the point of having slight disdain for the audience. Very slight, mind you. But you notice in "independent" Stro Bro ends it with like "I bet you wanted to see everyone's film? well TOO BAD ooooh burn" or whatever. and then on the youtube upload, they change the ending. They clearly feel bad about that. it's for the best, Matt ended up doing great stuff on Gravity Falls, and the both of them made Two More Eggs just magical, so..
Thou Shalt Receive One Dot Com For One Year Passéd On This Widest Of Wüerld Wöebs
>>46336 Honestly the gap between 2011 and 2014 was for the best then. They got jobs in a much more stable industry and keeps people wanting more. Look at the success of the Trogdor board game and Kick the Cheat. Compare that to so many other YouTubers who just never go away and burn themselves out
>>48178 >the Trogdor board game I literally just got back from playing 2 rounds of that with my niece and nephew after Easter dinner with the family. They know almost nothing about Homestar, but still always ask to play that game when I visit.
>>45613 I used to watch Homestar Runner on-and-off as a kid. But that was a really long time ago and I never watched it in any systematic way. Is there like any list of all toons in release order or whatever so I can watch them all in order? Not that there was that much continuity.
>>48344 Also interested. I’ve seen the characters on and off. This caught my attention, the humor was nice, but going through their catalog left me feeling confused.

>>48382 >13 pages on IMDB I've got my work cut out, it seems. Thanks, anon.
>>48385 You're welcome, glad I could help! >13 pages on IMDB Yeah, Homestar Runner's been at it for 25 years now, and they used to update on a weekly basis for a good chunk of that. Fair warning, some of the early stuff (Marshmallow's Last Stand) isn't available on the official site anymore, so it might take some digging to find them.
>>45676 >Career Day >79 Seconds Left >Pistols for Pandas >hremail3184 (aka the 201st sbemail) All of these were in 2009 which I personally think was the site's lowest point, but that's just my opinion.
They made a site map page that's a 3D map of Free Country USA. https://homestarrunner.com/sitemap

>25 fucking years Its especially crazy when you realize just how few websites from that era made it out of the 2000s, let alone 2010s, and how much any new website struggles to stay alive today.
>>48936 Omg it's HTML5
