I wish she really survived and wasn't just a myth that got debunked in the 90s or 00s.
>>48320 two things were weird growing up and finding out one: that things like barbara gordon getting paralyzed or wolverine having bone claws were not NEW 21st century retcons, but actually happened at or before their iconic early 90s shows that I watched and 2: that "maybe this happened, maybe that happened" mysteries from my childhood like anastasia, amelia earhart, etc... we actually knew immediately what happened with 98% certainty. it was never a mystery.
>>48320 The only mystery about this is them being antsy about making Lenin the villain.
>>48396 >amelia earhart What was that mystery about?
>>48320 What myth? Wasn't she just a richfag noble daughter that got killed? None of my friends liked disney when I was a kid and piracy wasn't a thing yet so I watched none of this.
>>48574 That nobody knows what happened to her. >>48720 The she didn't get shot by the people
>>49010 It has been confirmed that they killed her
>>48411 They must likely wanted to avoid real life politics
>>48320 She'd forever suffer seeing Russia under the Soviet rule, so it was a better end to die young overall.

>>49085 >They could've make the movie take a dark turn and have her family getting shot by revolutionary drunkards >Have Anastasia flee to the woods but it was in vain <Last scene shows a bolshevik in the middle of the woods chasing Anastasia, with his his loaded rifle aiming at her back and pulls the trigger with no hesitation and quickly cuts to the credits after a loud gunshot (hence it took 90 years to find her corpse) Don Bluth could've been the first ex-Disney employee to break their established norms of "animation is for toddlers" before Dreamworks, but decided to repeat the same mistakes, in fact Anastasia became Fox's answer to Pocahontas (the other animated movie that took a huge shit in history)
