Hear me out, what are moments from cartoons that used to scare the living shit out of you when you’re a kid?

>>49011 to be fair, we were kids for me it's the rugrats episode where angelica dreams that she has a new brother and her parents completely ignore and forget about her. the idea of being neglected by your parents who up until now had cared for you, fed you, provided you shelter and loved you giving away all your things while you starve and shiver scared the hell out of me as a kid. watching it as a kid is a lot more effective than as an adult, because at that age you rely on your parents and it's much easier to imagine yourself in angelica's shoes.
not sure why this movie was so scary. they should have really turned it down. like, as an adult, you can just appreciate the art, but as a kid, this was pretty intense, lol. >entire movie just kinda feels like dread and horror atmosphere >you think it's finally safe on the cute meadow, but piglet gets dragged away into the sky by the scp butterflies, and if they hadn't rescued him, you think he'd be dead and would have vanished forever >yeah, there's just this scp rock monster on the map >that sound that plays when they finally find the monster cave i always thought it was really weird and kinda bullshit how they made you watch a horror movie with some scary world building, but in the end they just pretend like that shit never happened to make it okay. like, that did not undo what just happened, lol. people are gonna laugh at me, but it has made in abyss vibes for kids. it's like the world isn't like earth, it feels alien and has its own ecosystem that prays on you. i think there's only one thing that would top this for me, and that was the camp lazlo episode with the meat guy.

Soy people really creeped me out as a kid and adult.
>>49527 >camp lazlo episode with the meat guy oh man, i remember that one. definitely one of the weirder episodes of that show, i still remember the ending where it reveals that the lazlo telling the story is actually meat man, suggesting he ate and morphed into him.
