>>52835 The dub VAs did such a half assed job maybe the sub will be better. >finally get the block somewhat watchable lol what block are you watching
>>52835 These are the marathons we've been expecting to make up for the doubled One Piece. It's just at first it looked like maybe the Superman one was just a Warner promotion (and likely still is, but equally helped the block stretch its premieres.) This is similarly expected with how they'd want to marathon a full original too (after milking a halfway point one as well) all while acting as the stagnation marathons.

>>53104 >doubled up diaper This is what we had an extra week of marathon stalling for?
>>53129 Have they directly confirmed it's being dropped? I would just assume maybe they're trying to make up for Daima being interrupted after only three episodes. Pretty weird we're getting the Ninja Kamui treatment again with Lazarus's sub.
>>53139 >le diaper le meme le unoriginal spammers....
>>53141 Are you lost?
>>53142 Are you? Literally nobody finds that joke funny
>>53140 As far as I can find, no. Also this doesn't track with the theory that Naruto and Sailor Moon will be dropped at the same time since they got picked up at the same time, since Naruto is still on that schedule. Who knows. Have to wait and see what the schedule for the week after that is.
>>53153 There was no theory. It was one retard who pulled that claim out of his ass.
>>53104 >Sailor Moon seemingly gone >double OP died for more Lazarus just to kill the last hour Isn't that Rooster show supposed to be summer season?
>>53174 I don't think the release date for the Rooster show has been confirmed yet. Supposedly it is this year though.
>>53174 One Piece dropped to once a week since they only have like 50 or so episodes a year, and they were doubled up pretty much since the year began, so they're trying to conserve the rest until the end of the year. Who knows about Sailor Moon, since it and Naruto were both also bought in a 50 bulk, though that must have been renewed after the Rewind got Old Yellered. Guess they might just be using those for buffering the block when the new stuff rotates out, which Lazarus will (hopefully) do after the sub run
Puppetfaggot having yet another melty on 4chan. So sick of that cunt. Hopefully it doesn't screw over the general tonight.

>>53886 Huh, never knew a network had run the DMC anime, shame we never got that back when the block had first returned. Though part of me could have seen them snagging the first anime as a kind of cross promotion for the Netflix series, which would have been pretty funny since the 07 series is far superior.
>>53837 Is it that same guy? The gore poster strikes me as the type of person to keep the tab up for the whole week and bump every time it's about to fall off, all for the sake of "demonstrating" how bad it is to the mods.
>>53908 Seems that way, given the last few weeks since they started posting the gore followed after the usual hubbub of "nooo, you guys can't just post about your day! only talk about the shows and just the shows that are currently airing!!" arguments. It's gotta be an existing life getting mad each and every week at anonymous people just shooting the breeze while they shitpost and watching anime.
>>53837 The gore is actually a good thing since it forces the mods to actually do something about him for once.
>>54131 One can hope he's actually banned after pulling that stuff and not just hiding behind different IPs or getting slaps on the wrists. Bans these days don't seem to be nearly as severe as they were about a decade ago where you could land a long one that last weeks/months, or even possibly permanent ones. While I'm sure they still do occur, most I ever come across are the usual 24hr or 3 day ones
>Duel is in Toonami General now Wow as if shit couldn't get any worse. I stopped using /m/ because of that faggot. I fully support moving here at this point.

>look at thread out of curiosity >that tirade Can't believe I'm saying this but I'm starting to pity him. I'm not sure which is less objectionable. >>54218 Anko tits are so nostalgic.
(29.58 MB 7501x3709 111283546_p0.jpg)

>>54397 It's the whole "that's just a boogeyman" excuse that really makes it so pathetic. How in the fuck can it be a boogeyman when we've literally seen an anon saying "you must only post and talk about the shows that are currently airing" and other such things? It makes no sense at all. Guy wants to say we're the ones with someone rent free in our heads, yet he's pitching a bitch tent about THIS thread on the other site, contributing zero discussion of value like he constantly complains about. It's peak irony.
I went into a random thread from 2016 and it was exactly the same as it is now. Some guys hijacked the thread halfway through to start talking about guns. I even found, no joke, the exact same shitposter: https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/84759661/#84768701 It's either autism or a bit, and I choose to believe it's both. I also thought this post was funny: https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/84759661/#84768343 Block's been "dead" for a fucking decade. There's this mythical 20-thread night that's been living rent-free in some people's heads and anything less than that is proof that the west has fallen. Just in case, I went back to 2013 to check and the fourth post is inviting blogposting and halfway through the thread people start talking about kitbashing gunpla: https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/55424508/#55424555
>>54413 Hardly surprising, whiners and doomposters have been around pretty much since forever, even when the threads averaged 10+ threads nearly every single week. Nowadays, we're lucky if we even managed 5+ threads that aren't started by the sperg or accelerated because of excessive shitposting over inane, pedantic arguments.
>>54397 >>54399 He seems to have gotten much worse since the hack outage. and he admitted he watches this thread. It must really burn him up knowing he can't spam shit like gore here to try to force his way. He probably spends all week fuming watching other people being decent human beings to each other here and decides to take it out on the regular threads. What a sad, sad creature. >>54443 What he's doing now has transcended past sperging and shitposting a long time ago. I'm genuinely afraid for the people in his life, those within his physical reach.
>>54501 What gets me is the guy has the audacity to tell us to leave the 4chan threads as if he's got any claim to them, yet is the one doing full on bannable shit whilst implying everyone else is doing terrible stuff when at worst, it's just some off-topic shit. Like the dude from /m/ was definitely off-topic, but at least it's anime related. If thing were to go the sperg's way, we'd only be allowed to post images and talk about shows that are presently on the block. Meaning that the moment say Lazarus is gone, it's suddenly a punishable offense to mention it (even though watching was already offense enough). Honestly wouldn't surprise me if the guy is the same sort who got uppity when people would say "you know what would be cool to see on the block? x show" back when Toonami was in its early revival days and people got fucking booted for just mentioning other shows that could be fun to see.
>>54397 I don't. I just want him gone, but it won't happen because 4mods don't give a shit and he's a ban evader. Anyone else noticed how they changed the feedback options? You can only choose bug reports or IP range ban shit now instead of all the other options they used to have. There is officially no way to actually talk to the mods about the problems the site faces now. I mean of course we knew feedback was pointless, but it's ridiculous how they keep distancing themselves from the user base. All across the website are deranged schizo assholes making certain topics impossible to talk about and the mods won't do shit. I'm so tired of it. OK, rant over. >>54519 Not to be a dick, but I don't think you know who that /m/ faggot is. A very notorious troll who has been shitting up this website for over a decade. Trust me, you don't want him in our threads. IDK if Puppetfag knew who he was, but making sure he doesn't feel welcome is a good thing. I fucking hate that prick so goddamn much. Anyways, I hope Dan Da Dan is good. At the very least it looks like it will be visually appealing. The block actually looks pretty packed for once. Shame about Sailor Moon though. Wish they kept it over Naruto. Although Naruto might not be long for the block either.
(6.52 MB 3000x2090 Ghibli Land.jpg)

>>54550 I get the /m/ guy is pretty bad, but at least the shit he brings up has some relation to the general theme of toonami (anime) versus the sperg who will just up and post gore or other /b/ tier shit because we aren't kowtowing to his majesty's whim. It's funny that he gets upset because people dare to act friendly and familiar with one another and share day-to-day activities with one another; so this somehow means he can just shit up the threads with stuff that could potentially get the entire thread nuked if the mods weren't such lazy cucks. By all means, I'd love it if the moderation were even a tenth of what they are here, quick and responsive to reports. I remember in our first thread here back during the blackout on 4chan, the guy was trying to pull his usual complaining, someone reported him, and he was silenced for the whole night. If we could at least get a mod who would put the kibosh on those schizos, that'd be great, but obviously that's going to depend on whether someone with actual integrity shows up for the job.
>>54519 I don't think the sperg has even thought out what his way would be. He just wants to destroy and control people. Even if everyone did everything he asked, next week he would just come up with something new to fuel his hatred. He’s been around so long that you’d think he’d have gotten bored and moved on by now, but nope. It’s always the same song and dance every week, whine about "off-topic" then start spamming something unhinged just to get a rise. Pathetic, really. >>54570 Mod response is basically non-existent unless you’re posting cp or something, which, funny enough, is probably the only thing he hasn’t posted. Small favors. Honestly, best thing we can do is just keep posting and ignore him. Eventually he’ll either get bored or get another temp ban. Either way, we win by not feeding him attention. Only thing keeping me from full burnout is that most of the regulars here know how to ignore the noise. Still sucks that we have to. >>54550 I don't want to prematurely judge anyone. The /m/ guy didn't seem that bad, maybe a bit off-topic, but at least he wasn't actively trying to get threads nuked. There’s a difference between off-topic and straight-up thread terrorism. Even if he is as bad as you say elsewhere, maybe he'll behave in our threads or get bored and leave. It's not like we get enough /m/ shows to keep someone like that interested for very long. Also yeah, Dan Da Dan looks like a trip. Hope it doesn’t fizzle out after only a few weeks.

>>54627 Only problem is someone is bound to engage with the guy in some way or another, be it falling for whatever bait argument he tries to spring, or inventing some new thing to complain about like fixating on words or images people post. As for the /m/ fag, I've heard he can be quite the handful, but if we're lucky, it'll just be more of what we saw last week and we can ignore the guy and not have the threads stray too far off course.
megumi stinky
Toonami serves no purpose when I can watch any anime I want for free whenever I want.

>>54679 >BLUE RACIST >I'm gonna say it! Rin no, think of the sponsors!
>>54635 >Toonami serves the group viewing experience. purpose. Only bootleg streams can replicate it, and it's not the same. >>54628 It doesn't matter even if no one engages with the guy or not. He clearly samefags when he can't manage to bait anyone to engage him.
>>54635 I know this is kind of pathetic to say, but the community is what makes Toonami good in the modern day. Shooting the shit with some guys while we watch crappy dubbed anime is like the only thing I have going for me right now. >>54627 Unfortunately it's hard to ignore him when he spams a thread to death or slides it off the catalog. If it was just his whining then yeah, but he's doing shit he knows we can't ignore and can't fight against. This general here on 8chan now gives us an outlet at least, which is pretty great. >>54684 I'm going to be racist to demons. Fuck the sponsors.
>>54742 Yea, it's getting annoying that his new "gimmick" right now is just spamming images, ones that barely have any point to them whatsoever. I know some of us would just float the thread with images, but at least it was stuff that others would enjoy like sexy waifus and whatnot. Dude is just throwing whatever he can, probably because his other patterns won't work anymore like the Dragon Ball Goku dick spamming.

We're getting the next Blue Exorcist season, but Naruto is gone and it seems they are cutting the slot.
>>55633 That's a shame we're shrinking again, but I guess it makes sense when the last hour or so has been a graveyard shift with just old shows or reruns of the new stuff. At least it's good we'll be going straight into the next BE season instead of waiting. Kind of makes me wonder now if they are holding off on Mashle's second season or if they just decided to not bother.
>>55633 Good news for Izumo fans, hope they keep up with rolling right into the next season for Beyond the Snow and the Blue Night Saga
>>55635 I have a feeling they might try to space things out, if only to try and pad for time until the new season rolls out. If they plan it out just right, they could probably have Exorcist bow out for a while by the time they're able to run the third season of Blood War. Curious to see what will happen with Demon Slayer since I've heard they aren't going to convert the movies into show arcs like they did way back with Infinity Train. If that's the case, I can only wonder if we'll get the movies like we did with the Attack on Titan ones.
>>55636 >the new season Voln certainly seems to be showing that they intend to continue with the changes they made to end on the shot that it did. But afaik there hasn't even been an official announcement that it's gonna be a thing so it'll be a bit of a wait >Demon Slayer Well shit, that's news to me as far as not chopping up the movies. Really throwing a wrench in the works with this whole movie adaptation trend as of late
>>55637 I kind of get it, since the final arcs are often expected to get the biggest budgets, but it is certainly weird how they turned one arc into a movie, then redid for the anime and made two more seasons that simply squeezed everything they could into a cour, and now are doing the last act as a film trilogy or whatever. Though I suppose maybe they might change their minds, or maybe the info I read only assumed there weren't plans because the movies are current in production.
>>55634 At the time, Mashle S2 was probably too new for them to land. Now, the block is too full. I could see it showing up in the fall to replace Dan Da Dan, which faces the same issue, its new season is too new to follow up immediately. I don’t mind the trim down. We sat through all 500 episodes of Shippuden, we have earned a block that doesn’t have Naruto on it. And if they didn’t cut the slot, it would just go to a rotation of the shitty originals. >>55637 Bleach already has a space on the block, why would BE have to stop for it? As for Demon Slayer, no it won’t air if they are movies. AoT final episodes were not movies, they were extended episodes that AS paid dub premier rights for in 2014. That said, they also said Mugen Train would not be made into episodes, and look what happened. They just say that now to get more asses into the theatre.
>>55640 Well obviously Bleach will have to take a break at some point, either after season 2 or 3, though many are thinking they'll stop after season 2 since it would mean 3 and 4 can run back to back and the series concludes with even runs. BE, if they take a break after the Illuminati arc, could fill that void in the meantime, along with something else as we're still a good ways out before that rooster thing. It all just depends on how they space these things out so we aren't back to months of nothing with the only "new" show being a decade old episode of One Piece.

>>55640 >why would BE have to stop for it I don't think they'll stop, at least not for the reason the other anon does. It's just 3, 4, and 5 (or rather 4 cour 2) are only 12 episodes a piece so that'd be 36 episodes left until the next season that hasn't even had an production announcement let alone what year it would air in. So if they burn through all of them it'd be likely we'll get the rest but we don't know when that'll be. In the mean time S3's OP brings back the sax so at least there's that
>>55641 I do agree Bleach will likely pause after cour 2. That will carry us pretty close to the holiday marathon season, so it will be easy to pull off and not replace at all. Then 3+4 come back in the summer months since that seems to be about the time cour 4 will get moving + get dubbed. Going into 2026 we are probably gonna slide back into the stalling rut due to how many originals are on deck. Rooster Fighter is locked in for April. We also have MAWS 3+4, Get Jiro, Super Mutant Magic Academy, and Primal S3 reruns that will still have to air at midnight for some reason. A lot of shit they are gonna have to keep space flexible for. Enjoy the next few months, cause it’s probably gonna start getting shitty again.

>>56330 The design is still on point, but it's the weird stylistic change with the nose being so faintly drawn. It almost makes her look like a character from Oban Star-Racers. At least in some shots it seems better, but it's definitely odd seeing them go with such a detail when anime noses in general are already quite simplistic looking most of the time.

Ha, I think the threads are dying a bit too fast for a certain concealed face person to say anything now. Hope this at least mean he's getting a good rest. If you're reading this, hope your week goes well. >>56820 Actually a damn good angry face on Rin there. Making good use of his demon genes.
>>56824 gotta wonder if it isn't just father time getting the better of us as we keep getting older, lot of people punching out early even with a shorter more concentrated block. granted the last hour doesn't exactly leave too much reason to stick around
>>56829 Likely a factor, one has to assume. Most toonami watchers ain't spring chickens anymore, and the more time goes by the more we keep getting it piled on. More responsibilities, more health issues, more fatigue. It takes its toll.
>>56830 I guarantee you no one under the age of 25 is watching Toonami. Most of us were teenagers/twentysomethings when Toonami came back, and that was 13 years ago. No wonder they have those hygiene and medical commercials during the block.
>>56887 I wonder how many regulars are ones that watched the OG Toonami since the beginning. Those people would be in their 40s or even older.
>>56934 Most of the people watching it now were kids who saw Naruto premier when they were seven and were in high school when Toonami came back.
