Scourge is powerful annd edgy and cool looking while also being stupid but in a sense he's a bit too meta. Sometimes his archetype can be played straight, western stuff gets weird with irony sometimes.

I genuinely love her design and punk chick aesthetic but it's an abosolute crime that they're destroying her character (I assume they're still making her more friendly, I gave up on the comics several issues back)

Twitter/the writers had a new STRONG FEMALE CHARACTER and 4chan readers had a cool new villainess who would spice up the comic a little. I had no idea what a pathetic crybaby jobber she'd turn out to be. All the fanart (pics related) that people made about her being a cocky punk villainess was so much cooler than the actual character.
