What was with these guys? They suck to play as so I always thought they were punishment for accidentally picking them, but they seem to be regarded as genuinely good guys. They don't seem to ever be featured in cast shots with the other main characters, are they part of Chaotix or not?

>>32643 In the game they're clearly still working for Eggman. In the Archie comics they became good guys but eventually got reprogrammed by Eggman and killed tons of people. But then the Freedom Fighters rebuilt them and acted like they were the old good versions, and they stayed good for the rest of their appearances. There is of course also Shard, and if you're gonna count Archie characters, then there are tons of Robians that became good, like Uncle Chuck. Well actually that happened in SatAM too, but only for one episode. It happened for real in Archie. But my favorite example is in Sonic the Comic, Shortfuse the Cybernik. He was cool.
