Wxamples of enchanted items 06/08/2025 (Sun) 03:16:45 No. 11750
want to learn how to enchant items. Significant affects, protection, luck, intelligence or more mind involved attributes like energy reading. Such as in these stories: >On my 16th birthday i received an interesting gift from my best friend, it is a talisman that was sold to his father by a native american shaman. As the story was told to me, the shaman sold him two talisman, one that would bring love and one that would bring luck to his life. >He claims the talisman of love broke shortly after he divorced his wife, which then he gave the talisman of luck to his son(my friend) who then gifted said talisman to me. Its appears to be a copper wire warped around a smooth small oval of amber, the talisman is roughly three inches long and an inch think, its designed to hang from something, so naturally i put it up on my wall. >Well one day when playing Monopoly with my family i decided to play around and call out for my good luck charm to achieve a specific roll, i believe i had asked for double sixes and to my amazement i rolled just that. Thinking of course it was just a random chance i then asked for another pair of numbers and rolled them as well. I did this if i can remember correctly nearly eight times? before my bizarre string of luck ended. My parents, disturbed by this event and asked me to get rid of the talisman. As far as they know i have but naturally i kept it hidden from view, have sense moved out and put the talisman back up on my wall. I'm still not sure how it quite works but I do seem to get lucky when it counts to be so. >2 >I own what appears to be a Roman coin baring the face of Emperor Caligula. Has some goetic sigil carved over the face. Really finely dug in, like someone had to take the time to carve it in deep. I got it from my grandfather. During the Great War, he survived two mustard gas attacks and was never once hit by any gunfire. He claims the coin was responsible and was found in a little cloth bag below the earth in Verdun. Allegedly, it also contained the bones of a few small animals and was big enough to fit in the palm of one's hand. The one time he did lose his lucky trinket, his trench was shelled and he lost half of his left foot. Miraculously, the coin was later returned to my great grand-pappy by one of his comrades in arms, incidentally, one who escaped from the same shelling that cost GG his left foot, despite being only a few meters from him. For a while, he said, it looked like his wounds were becoming gangrenous. Upon the return of this odd little relic, his wounds actually began healing at an accellerated rate. Of course, he was still down a foot and was thusly discharged. Oddly, his friend copped it to Phosgene gas a few weeks later. >I've been saved a few times by the coin, too. Hit by a car three times and not once have I experienced any broken bones or ruptures. Just a little bit of pain. The one time I broke my leg, I was playing football and elected to leave the coin at home, not wanting to lose it.
>>11750 What is the first item you want to enchant and what enchantment do you want to put on it? Sorry I don't know how to help you I'm just curious.
>>11751 A ring or a pendant. I was thinking something basic like luck or a blessing for my ill health.
A good way to create an enchanted item is to create a servitor and bind it to an object. I did this with a ceramic duck that I found at a garage sale. Standard servitor creation process only you channel the energy into the object and treat the object and the spirit as one in the same. I gave the servitor the ability and purpose to push away situations where I'd need to work or toil for other people, and it's been quite successful in the years that I've owned it. Why would you create an enchanted object when you could just cast a regular spell? I'm not entirely sure, but it seems that giving the spirit a physical vessel makes it easier for it to synchronize with the physical density of existence. It seems to make it easier to self-perpetuate as well; I haven't done an energetic recharge of my duck servitor for a couple years but it seems to still be operating normally. I did give it a silver coin (which proceeded to tarnish unnaturally quickly); the "holding" of metaphysical "value" represented by the metal could serve as a sort of energetic battery for the spell, maybe.
>>11750 I would like to see the coin. What denomination is it and what sigil does it have?
>>11763 And how do you cast a spell, or an enchantment without drawing off of the power symbols or rituals of something other than yourself like a goetic? I want to use only my own power, and not use a ritual exchanging energy with some name stealer.
>>11763 a cool spell would be reading peoples intentions, thoughts or feelings and possible futures. i doubt any of us can do that
>>11778 You draw off of elemental power. Initiation into Hermetics details how to do this, and the later Vital Energy invocations and evocations outline how to do this specifically to enchant objects or areas. With a bit of simple experimentation you can explore further configurations of etheric and astral energies which imply different meanings and therefore effects as well.
>>11781 By invocation do you mean like an incantation? I'm familiar with hermetics in passing. Mind, ether, and a few books on Vrill too.I have an extensive meditation background but I've been out of practice and lost faith in any avenue of "magic" not being tainted ever since dealing with kundalini, which I consider an ailment because it breaks my focus.
>>11783 By invocation I mean to channel something into yourself, as opposed to evocation which would be to channel something externally. You mentally connect to the pure spiritual form or aspect representing your desired effect, and draw it down through the existential densities (planes) until it manifests in the way that you desire. For example, IIH covers the 'elemental energy' of 'fire', which can be invoked into the mental/etheric density to cause one's mind or subconscious to become 'firey', or it can be channeled down to the physical density to increase one's body temperature or just outright increase the temperature of inert matter. Using primal energies rather than energies from entities who possess their own agency is generally preferable since it avoids the issues you expressed concered about regarding getting into debt with someone, though it does require more training and mental focus since you need to program the energies with the correct intention yourself via Will and Imagination rather than relying on some third party to do it for you. This is why gross physical effects such as telekinesis tend to be so difficult for most people. You're relying entirely on your own mind and will as a lens for the energies that you're evoking, and nowadays most peoples' minds have been thoroughly and deeply programmed with the belief (image) that these kinetic effects are "impossible". So in order to achieve those effects, you'll need to somehow overcome that programming.
>>11787 NTA but have you ever enchanted or made a spell that did crazy stuff? Mind reading, intelligence boosting, something directly powerful and not just a subtle change in luck or something.
>>11789 Well, weather manipulation is pretty doable since there's already an element of chaos in it. Once when I was pouring all the energy I could into trying to make it rain, I accidentally caused a huge hurricane-level thunderstorm in my area that ended up causing over $11 billion in damages. I try to be more careful nowadays. I also accidentally cursed the town that I used to live in to a near decade-long drought once. I was doing some work outside and it was about to rain, so I cast a spell so that it wouldn't rain. Only I didn't think to undo the spell afterwards, and for some reason it gathered momentum and became self-perpetuating. So from then on rain would unnaturally avoid that one town in particular. If you watched the radar you could see the storm clouds split and disappear the moment the got into the town's radius.
>>11790 What is your study?
>>11787 IIH?
>>11787 How do you sense and distinguish primal energy from everything else?
>>11791 Thaumaturgy. >>11794 Practice.
>>11798 Describe the practice
>>11963 Start out with the meditations in the first steps of Initiation into Hermetics then move on the regular practical scrying and willworking operations.
>>11970 have you enchanted anything so it enhances physical attributes like in a game? what can you expect from an enchantment?
>>12020 No, I've never had any reason to do that. >what can you expect from an enchantment? Same thing that you can expect from regular servitor work.
