Why both Wikipedia and Internet Archive have the same exactly popup message for e-begging? Still both of them deserve to get shut down, with Internet Archive taking down archives they treat as "problematic". Also it comes to full contradiction with their supposed philosophy of saving internet history.
>>45015 If anyone knows how to do it, I'd be interested to see how much cash those two groups have on hand. I'd be willing to bet that both of them are sitting on tens of millions of dollars in donations that they received in the past, and are crying poverty to trick people into thinking that they are in danger of shutting down.

>>45041 idk about IA, but Wikipedia is known
>>45041 A quick search found some details for IA.
>>45015 >>45041 Internet archive actually preserves I formation and needs funding. Wikipedia spends like 3% their income on hosting costs and the rest lines their pockets. Flesh simulator glowing talked about wikipedia in a video.
>>45088 That explains it
>>45015 The issue with those begging campaign is that those project never disclose any detail about their finances. It's always "trust me bro, we need the money for a good cause". But they'll never says why they need it, or even how much they need. It's a really scammy behaviour.
