Targeting well-known lethal monogenic diseases like Tay-Sachs, Cystic Fibrosis, Huntington’s disease — cutting defective genes and inserting corrected sequences. (This is the “public justification.”) Behind the scenes they are working on Muscle Growth Enhancement, Height and Skeletal Optimization, Neurological Plasticity Augmentation (intelligence), Emotion Regulation Experiments (this engineers stable "resistant" personalities for ideal soldiers and workers). First edits would look like humanitarian interventions ("saving kids from deadly diseases"). What deadly diseases are their primary focus? Cystic Fibrosis, Tay-Sachs, Canavan, Familial Dysautonomia, Gaucher Disease, Niemann-Pick, etcetera. If you're familiar with these diseases, you would know they predominantly afflict Ashkenazi Jews.
