>>7596 She either passes painlessly like >>7609 said or she ascends via the tree or something I don't really see her getting a brutal death at the end, even after all the bad she did. Just doesn't feel like they would do it?

>>7609 Most boring villain loss condition ever conceived

>>7611 >Speaking of this makes me wonder if the Infinite Tsukiyomi would affect Salem Nothing to suggest she'd be immune to illusions like Infinite Tsukiyomi, she'd probably be stuck in. But another interesting genjutsu question is how long would she be stuck in the Izanami before she finally stops being evil? Would a stint in Izanami teach her the value of life and death and technically break the curse when she gets out?
>>7614 Of course thats boring. It's RWBY. Boring is their bread and butter. If this were a good story we'd get an epic battle and the villain would be defeated with some uber awesome attack. But we have to understand the kind of story we're reading. And accept it for what it is. If they're smart they'd at least include an epic battle in there before Salem has that realization. Even something like Frieren that isn't about fights is still smart enough to understand that epic battles are important even if they're not ultimately the point. They really cant afford to fuck it up. But knowing CRWBY they're probably going to anyway.
>>7616 >But knowing CRWBY they're probably going to anyway. Been fucking it up for 7 straight volumes, 'probably' gives them too much credit
>>7611 >True. Still it's fun to think about methods to beat her from a fighting perspective. Her level of immortality is pretty nuts, I'd wager the magic curse probably doesn't let them BFR her into space either, even if they had the technology to do so. True. The technical options are all probably gonna be more interesting than whatever the writers have in mind. Trapping her in an illusion is definitely one thing. Someone like Superman would probably just throw her into space or toss her into the Sun. Toriko characters would probably use Knocking and permanently paralyze her. Or just eat her. Someone like Trafalgar Law would probably swap her soul with a frog and permanently separate her body. Bleach characters would purify her soul and let her pass on. No need for a fight. In the context of RWBY an electric pulse constantly going through her brain would prevent her from thinking or casting spells. So if they captured her that could be one way to neutralize her. That could be a possible Nora powerup if RWBY writers were creative and willing to do things with semblances. >>7617 >Been fucking it up for 7 straight volumes, 'probably' gives them too much credit LOL. True 🤣 I don't have any faith that V10 will be any better than previous volumes. They've always dropped the ball but the real question is do they even have the budget to make something half-way decent? They couldn't do much even with Warner Bros backing them. Being supported by Viz doesn't mean much will change in that regard.

>>7596 >How do you guys think Salem's story resolves? Pregnancy.
>>7611 The thing is when it comes to Salem's immortality, is that it's literally granted by a creator God who comes off as above most characters in series like Naruto, Bleach, or One Piece. So while there are plenty of soul killing abilities and weird esoteric powers in Naruto and Bleach especially, would it actually work on Salem? Or because the immortality is granted by a literal divine being would she just no-sell it? That's kind of the problem with these inter-series vs battles. We have no idea how some of these powers would interact and when you get to certain reality warping powers and immortality it becomes even murkier as to what would take precedence over what. The God of Darkness wiped out all of humanity in an instant and then destroyed the moon. The God of Light created relics of infinity knowledge, creation, destruction, and glimpses of the future. There are some deities in Naruto and Bleach but the God of Light might really be above any of them.
>>7619 Didn't help the first time
>>7620 The Gods only made her immortal. They didn't make her immune to literally everything. Abilities that affect her in other ways are a totally viable solution. So abilities from other anime even if they're weaker than the Gods would still work.

>>7620 The TSB from Naruto managed to negate the regeneration of Edo Tensei and was untouchable to all that lacked senjutsu, as it bypasses durability. Minato's arms were shown to be erased as a spirit as well, so it's a soul wiping attack. The All-Killing Ash Bones are biologically instakill but don't affect the soul. I would say that it's quite likely that they could wipe out Salem, since I'm pretty sure her curse is tied to her soul. Putting aside soul-wiping attacks, the Rinnegan rips the soul from the body and sends them to the afterlife when absorbed. Reaper Death Seal utilizes a literal god of death to do the same thing. The question is if the Gods curse can be nullified by these attacks or not. The Truth Seeking Balls are essentially divine in nature, as Naruto acquired them when he became a demi-god and Kaguya's was meant to destroy all her worlds as it expanded, and she would then REMAKE them, so I think it's possible it would be powerful enough to circumvent Salem's curse. Soul wipe/removal aside there's sealing. Shukaku's seal would have trapped Madara if he hadn't switched with his limbo clone with eye hax. Chibaku Tensei could seal even the Tailed Beasts. Speaking of an interesting idea would be a seal like those used for jinchuriki. A seal that would trap Salem within someone could be done and by tying it to someone's life it could bypass the Staff usage undoing the seal by exploiting the no-killing loophole. And then whenever he holder dies the seal could take Salem to hell or whatever. The Brother Gods are very powerful, but while they are true gods, the question is if their curse can be nullified by soul erasure or not. The Grimm Pools of Destruction are also not necessarily soul wiping and with The Hound we know that it doesn't necessarily kill even those that are mortal. One Piece does not have a single soul wiping attack in it, the soul manipulations like Soru Soru no Mi are limited to extracting life-span, but that's not the same as destroying a soul and I doubt Salem would be afraid of anything or anyone.
>>7623 I suppose it would be fun to try
>>7625 You know what else would be fun to try?
>>7626 >You know what else would be fun to try? My mom.

>>7624 >The Brother Gods are very powerful, but while they are true gods, the question is if their curse can be nullified by soul erasure or not. The Grimm Pools of Destruction are also not necessarily soul wiping and with The Hound we know that it doesn't necessarily kill even those that are mortal. The Gods are very powerful beings but they're not all powerful. Hence why Salem can trick them. They're fallible and can make mistakes. Technically they're just really powerful alien beings. Sort of like Galactus. He's acknowledged to be really powerful but he's not generally considered a God.

>>7626 What?
>>7626 Yang should have a flatter ass tbh. She’s the top heavy RWBY.
>>7631 Muscleman joke >>7632 Yang is top heavy, but that doesn't mean her ass is flat
>>7632 All the girls should have bigger asses tbh. But to varying degrees. Ruby should have the fattest ass on her team followed by Blake, Yang, and finally Weiss dead last.
(931.18 KB 1024x1024 Vacuo Ruby.png)

>>7634 Agreed. For other teams Nora has a bigger ass than Pyrrha. Cinder's is rivaled only by Salem, Emerald and Neo are in the Weiss-club. Out of the MILFs, Willow is canonically on top, followed by Kali, Summer, Raven and Sienna. >>7632 True relative to other characters (hence Neon's mockery) I still prefer a bigger bottomed Yang though. >>7633 Thought so.

>>7628 They're essentially omnipotent beings whose powers involve casual creation of life, magical beings, representation and manipulation of metaphysical concepts both directly and granting them to physical objects and living entities (The Relics). They're also immortal unaging and so on. The only thing they aren't is Omniscient, and even then only to the degree that they are not aware of everything happening at the same time everywhere, they are still aware of things happening in places they are not and have worldly knowledge (hence the power Jinn is granted). As a side note anyone have the meme pic of Brother gods saying "You seeing this shit" I've lost it.
>>7635 Oh you liked that one?
>>7637 Assuming you mean the Ruby one, it's fire. Could genuinely imagine Ruby that way. Yang one is good too though.
>>7639 I did mean that Ruby one, took a hot minute to find that gen so I could remix and edit it

>>7628 >You're not gods! You're just Afterans!

>>7647 Just for that, we're not going to stop Salem for you.
(3.43 MB 5625x2758 I_AM_A_HUUUUNNTRESSS.jpg)

>>7648 >You're Afterans, I don't want your solution. >I've dealt with your solutions and they both sucked. >Y'all are lazy.
>>7639 >Ruby and Jaune fuck on the regular but in their eyes, it is something they're doing as bros. >When they get married to separate people, their spouses need to accept that this is something they do and see nothing wrong with it despite Yang having an aneurism over it.
(2.48 MB 500x280 1730330507062485.gif)

>>7652 Yang's just butthurt she can't bro out too.
(81.04 KB 1280x1594 rubooty 2.jpg)

>>7642 I think I like the first one better, but still nice. the Rubooty rules. >>7647 Honestly I wish we'd get a scene of RK Jaune cussing out the Gods for being selfish pricks.
(363.50 KB 640x640 IMG_4580.jpg)

>>7657 >Honestly I wish we'd get a scene of RK Jaune cussing out the Gods for being selfish pricks. Realistically they're probably gonna make Ruby do that.
(868.67 KB 1920x1080 1685398338255.png)

>>7658 I would be satisfied with that too.
>>7657 >>7658 What's stopping the bros from wiping out Ruby or Jaune if they start talking shit?
>>7660 Absolutely nothing. The point is that no matter what the Brothers do, their creations will always rebel. That's poison to the divine
