After a flurry of activity this seems to have died. Bumping with a question; Should we make this a quick porn doujin or go for an actual fancomic? I personally would like the latter. I'm in the middle of writing out some scripts. Is this going to be a one-page comic or a longer series? if so how long are we talking here? How many pages? I need to properly plan out events.

Cause what we decide to make here will set the precedent of our future content. A short one has the benefits of being fast and a lighter workload. But the long one allows us to make it emotionally impactful and more freedom to stretch out the comic so "Others" anticipate more of the story and our future content. Well that is all I can think of at the moment.

I understand where you're coming from with regards to emotions but there are plenty of ways to pull at a reader's heart strings without killing off a character. I was under the impression that we'd start with a random story idea some involving a ship of our choosing then after seeing how it was received we'd do another one. Like doing Knightfall and then Lancaster. Which is what I had in mind. I wanted to start of making an impact with something controversial that would get the fandom talking. But it seems you may be describing something more akin to an official RWBY comic book AU for 8chan. That might be a little too big to start with and requires a lot of planning and forethought. Might be wiser to start small.

Would we be alright with commissioning KKbro for it? These first three pics were him mucking around out of boredom and taking thread requests. The last two had some effort put into them. As we're tacking the storyboard together, the modelwork and photo editing would be well doable on his part. His word goes - me and Bingo are in touch with him - that the male RWBY character models are pure ass to work with, but he won't turn down making more bread. We'll have to wire through Great Britain Pounds instead of USD for it, but I know for a fact he delivers quality.

Most RWBY fics are permanently trapped in that era. Lets move beyond that. I'd rather not re-tread any old volumes. Doing Vacuo and onward or even post-canon would be more favorable.

I wonder if loquillo would be open to this. They're inconsistent with when they are and aren't open to comm and I don't think they've done much for comics. Plus they're mostly porn.

Another idea I had for an RWBY comic, would be the story of The Girl Who Fell Through The World, as in the actual Fairy Tale.
