Not fond of the idea of crowdfunding. On a basic level, it'll be trusting someone to not scam us and instead actually go through with the commission. Since arguments have been made for both ships, I think it would be worth having both. It's not a harem even if it's not strictly a pairing, and story-wise could lead to a competitive dynamic between Cinder and Ruby for Jaune. As an aside I thought it might be fun to have some rarepairs like Sunflowyr on the side, maybe have some past Arcest references for shits and giggles and so on.

Ok, since this is stalling out a little, lets start storyboarding this with what we have so far. I'm thinking making it Plot With Porn, or hell even just making it SFW with NSFW spinoff excerpts would be fine, depending on how it pans out. - Primary ship; Cinder and Ruby compete for Jaune. - Background ships; Sunflowyr; Ren will be handling Winter. What's the plot going to be? Where in Remnant are we placing the story? I think that any shit like "Normal Highschool AU" and whatnot is lame.

Heres a short list of Knightfall ideas for the Comic Page. Scenario 1: >A much more serious comic page where Jaune & Cinder are actully discussing the more controversial aspects of their relationship. Like actually talking about Pyrrha, the idea of redemption etc. The idea was that they're in love and conflicted, no idea why they feel this way and are wondering if they should even go through with it or not. In the end, they decide they're both crazy and kiss anyway. Scenario 2: >AU idea based on the popular fanart of Cinder working in a Doughnut shop. Cinder is working at the Doughnut shop as usual. It's been a rough day but when her shift finally ends her boyfriend Jaune surprises her with a date. Scenario 3: >Since Halloween is around the corner: AU setting. The gang is all getting ready for Halloween and both Pyrrha and maybe Ruby try to get Jaune's attention with their outfits but he is immediately distracted by Cinder who shows off her outfit, then grabs his hand. Lacing her fingers with his and walks off with him to spend Halloween together. Leaving the other girls flabbergasted. <Alternate version: Jaune & Cinder are taking their kids trick or treating together. Reasoning: I chose Knightfall as the ship not just because I'm a fan but because of it's controversy. The goal is to create something that really grabs people's attention in the way that gets them talking. Nothing does that better than Knightfall imo. There are other "gross" or controversial ships you could theoretically do like Ruby x Yang but stuff like that is usually just dismissed and ignored outright. It doesn't garner the attention(and often rage) that Knightfall does because no one has any emotional investment in that. Whereas with Knightfall there is both emotional investment in Jaune & Cinder due to people having headcanon about him getting with Weiss and headcanon about Cinder experiencing the most gruesome death possible. Often at the hands of Jaune. Knightfall disrupts both of these mainstream popular opinions at once. The first one of having them actually debate their relationship is probably the most likely to spark the most discussion. Get people talking and curious about where the comic came from. We could do smut and I would love that but it's unlikely to get popular in mainstream RWBY spaces so it has to be a bit "tame" imo. It has to be something thats "safe" enough to spread around. Cause what we decide to make here will set the precedent of our future content. A short one has the benefits of being fast and a lighter workload. But the long one allows us to make it emotionally impactful and more freedom to stretch out the comic so "Others" anticipate more of the story and our future content. Would we be alright with commissioning KKbro for it? These first three pics were him mucking around out of boredom and taking thread requests. The last two had some effort put into them. As we're tacking the storyboard together, the modelwork and photo editing would be well doable on his part. His word goes - me and Bingo are in touch with him - that the male RWBY character models are pure ass to work with, but he won't turn down making more bread. We'll have to wire through Great Britain Pounds instead of USD for it, but I know for a fact he delivers quality.
