Books, .pdfs etc Anonymous 08/09/2020 (Sun) 17:38:09 No. 960
What are good, free books/.pdfs or any other source for CS learning? Post them here. Looking for anything to do with CS, any level, etc. If you got it, feel free to post it. Preferably non-programming (as that is clearly widely available anyway) - but anything posted will be useful to someone.
>>960 I'll just shamelessly pull from the /pac/ thread, and technically, from here as well because one of the torrents I first saw here. Firstly, the ACM Digital Library of Computer Science, a whopping 519 GiBs of computer science papers and such, very useful bb4367aa Secondly, from the Sicp website (I found this by looking at threads here) is the Gentoomen Library, a good resource for learning computer science, programming, and development. magnet:?xt=urn:btih:0bbfaaf5f469a2bd3d762f6942a302f7014a35e9&tr.1=udp://tracker.ccc.de:80&tr.2=udp://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80&tr.3=udp://tracker.opentrackr.org:1337&tr.4=udp://tracker.coppersurfer.tk:6969&tr.5=udp://tracker.leechers-paradise.org:6969&tr.6=udp://zer0day.ch:1337&tr.7=udp://explodie.org:6969
>>960 I second the Gentooman library. Beyond that, it's unclear what you want. Books about CS that aren't programming? Could be anything. Do you want network theory? Do you want cryptography? Do you want operating systems? Algorithm design? Finite state machines? There are textbooks on every possible topic, but there are too many topics to make a recommendation. Some of the best books are bound to programming because they offer how-to sections and practical examples in some language or another. That or they explore advanced techniques. I can offer suggestions but you need to be more specific with what theory you want.
