Ticklish robots Anonymous 12/05/2022 (Mon) 06:03:09 Id: d16b00 No. 35103
I couldnt find a thread like this, so im making one. Post robots on the receiving end of the tickles. Ideally they should actually look like a robot, and not just a human looking thing that happens to be a robot.

Reddit take but couldn't you say the same thing about the human brain? It's just chemicals mixing Also thoughts on cyborgs? Considering the half human bit
>>73868 Correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't the point of that movie that it wasn't just a machine and didn't just run programs?
>>76941 It's also a movie. Please tell me about your Johnny 5 coworkers you talked to today.

>>76950 >It's also a movie. My brother in Christ, the smut depicting robots being tickled is exactly as fictional as the movie.
>>76950 >That movie is a movie! Very good. My point is that if you're looking to stick it to the robotfags that robots are just machines and just run programs, don't use something that says that robots are not just machines and don't just run programs.
Well at the end of the day, I don't think it really matters if it's a robot running on programs or not. This whole fetish works on the fact that touch+laughter=boner and that can apply to anything, human or not.
>>77003 Fuck you and your robots. :P
>>77015 >fuck your robots NOW he gets it!
>>79925 fuck is this show anyway? is it just another zoomerfag thing?
>>79930 You could say that, yeah.
>>79931 Is it any good or just more retard slop?
>>79932 NGL, the consistency of the plot between episodes isn't that great. It feels like the show wasn't written with an overarching plot, it feels like the writers just made up what happens next along as they went. But what do I know? I'm just a zoomerfag
>>79935 Many such cases with these zoomer shows, at least the characters are sorta cute
>>79936 Indeed, they are cute.
Half the fun of this thread is watching that one autist get absolutely ass blasted over the idea of ticklish robots. Non-tickling but here's some more robot waifu stuff for inspiration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNNRlPfoC7I

okay so
Hear me out...
>>90469 >she's canonically ticklish under her arms and has a very cute giggle I'm listening.
>>90469 I know it's not much, but here
>>90469 couldve sworn ive seen more of her art in the past on devianrart
>>90477 Y'know, despite being a footfag, I really don't like the practice of slapping a pair of feet on a character that doesn't have them just so they can be tickled there tbh...
>>90486 Honestly? I agree, but I'd give a break to the second pic. I mean, the feet look like shit and it is not good, but when it comes to robots, the idea of forcing on them a connection to a tickle spot they're completely unfamiliar with and then showing them what it feels to have it tickled has legitimate merit.

>>90799 >>90856 It's actually not that simple. Maybe today it is, but definitely not tomorrow it isn't. Sure you can program a simple AI to act like it's being tickled, and it will be just a program. Yeah. But once you stop thinking about the shit technology people use today, and start talking about some real futuristic artificial intelligences and neural networks, you can't really "program", as in hard code them them to react like they're being tickled. Once you reach a point of machine intelligence where it looks thinks and sounds just like a human, giving it a tickle input and getting "honest" reactions ("honest" to the best extent from an AI standpoint) out of it is definitely possible. Bonus points if it has biotechnology integrated in the mix so that it is even more similar to us meatbags. (Biotechnology skin with touch reaction akin to human nerves?) And before you say it yourself, yeah, you're right. They might not have *sentience* as we organic beings do, but at such a point, does it even make a difference? What is sentience? Does sentience define the validity of a tickling reaction coming out of a being? What does? Don't think about it too much, just enjoy your ticklish robots - AI sentience is and will be as real as it needs to be. Today in fiction, tomorrow in your home.
