Raceist thread Anonymous 04/19/2025 (Sat) 19:56:03 Id: dda26c No. 1155721
What racing game are you playing? recently played Cruis'n World on the MAME emulator. I put a lot of quarters in this arcade game as a kid, but I never beaten it until now. No joke, the game literally ends in outer space with Bill Clinton in a jacuzzi surrounded by two bitches. One of those bitches is Hillary Clinton in a bikini. Is Redout 2 any good? might get it in the next big sale.
>>1480020 It is good and worth playing, although I think the first one is still better so I recommend that instead, unless you already played it and want more.
Faaast Penguin got a Fatal Fury collab for some reason

>>1155721 As a race realist I prefer more sim-heavy, serious games like pic related!
>>1483525 >not Burnout Revenge on the PS2
>>1483420 I miss club penguin. That has nothing to do with anything I just miss it.
>>1155721 My favorite racist games are those where you can fight for your race, a race war if you will

>>1155721 Im a proud raceist and have been binging them since March this year, starting with NFSU2. Im currently playing Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2025 and F-Zero GX back to back. The story mode for GX is still insane and trying to get through the cups are as daunting as ever. As for TXR, can't wait for them to release Hondas for the civics and NSXes or even Starions for Mistubishi if they go that far back. The AE86s can't be the only 80s JDMs right? too bad the planned full release is in september I've also played Nightrunners but I feel like they're either trying too hard to be gritty and realistic or it's a planned horror game with that grimy fake PS1 look made in Godot. It's other wise better than Japanese Drift Master which kinda sucks and fake as fuck but I'm too deep into it to quit wholesale. Also had been playing the Project Turbo Blast demo for two hours and it's the most promising f-zero/hotwheels clone so far. Just need a bit more tweaks to the boosting mechanics as well as crazier tracks with loops. considering anons from halfchan had modded in the bunny, I expect some level of modding would be done too. a REAL raceist picks the bike for this game 100% of the time
>>1483420 Oh shit, PC kart racer, is it good? That's like, one of the two big genres without a good PC game. Kart racers (well, sonic all stars is actually decent) and Mario party-likes.
>>1484341 Not really sure it can be considered a kart racer, it's about sliding down hill. but it's free on steam anyway so you may as well give it a shot. You do need an epic account though.
>>1483563 resolution and framerate were already bad on Xbox, I don't want to imagine the downgrade to PS2.
>>1483563 >>1484930 I played it on the GameCube, which is obviously the best version.
>>1484341 It's ok. The gameplay is about trying to connect multiple jumps to get a lot of air time
There's a pretty good..."clone" of Mario Kart 64 out now for PC, called Spaghetti Kart (not spilled from Eminem as of yet). I would suggest checking it out on a certain code repository website.
>>1155721 >What racing game are you playing? Currently playing Sega Rally PS2 port, been going through practice trying to clear maps, got my first Mountain clear today. been looking into other arcade rally racers with similar handling, tossing up between trying Sega Rally 2 and Old School Rally. Give me some reccs if you have any.

I don't think there will ever be another one like it and as good as it. Even the sequel was a step down I don't mean WR:BS actually bad because it's still good.
>>1499486 Rallisport Challenge 2 is a huge favorite of mine for rally games with a good balance of being semi-realistic but easy to play. I played it on the Xbox but apparently there is a PC version you can still get running.

>>1483420 I've been meaning to give this racer a try, but I keep forgetting. I might finally get around to it soon. Caligula2's dev team making a racing game sure is a curious choice. I wonder where the idea came from.
>>1501646 Rallisport Challenge 1 I know is on PC, but I am almost certain 2 is exclusive to the original Xbox. I have emulated it via Xemu and it seemed to run fine.
>>1480018 I've been playing this fat bunny robot girl game-- I mean. This racing game. And uhh. I just have to say. I fucking need it?
>>1480018 >>1502219 >get to stare at giant femme robo ass the game wew. Nice.
>>1502219 I noticed 4meme refugees really love this girl, they post her a lot and even draw her in our drawthread. Who is she?
I played Racing Lagoon awhile ago and it was actually fun, surprised no one's made a JRPG racing game since.
>>1197781 just started playing it, love the handling of the impreza, having fun doing free run time trials while listening to yt vids. Whats your favorite stage, music track and car from Sega Rally 2?
WipEout Omega Collection on PC when?
>>1503140 Because JDM its fucking Dead since then
>>1511671 Never, Sony killed the IP after they tried, and thankfully failed, to turn it into a mobile gacha game. I doubt there will even be a new console game at this point.
>>1511671 Pretty sure you can emulate it already.
>>1502940 Her name is Tempo and she is the mascot of Project Turboblast which is an indie racing game that has a demo on steam. She is a robot bunnygirl who is the game's announcer and generally appears in the menus, garages and podium finishes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRomgC8PEso I need this game. I need to impress Tempo with my sick lap times and podium finishes so she'll think I'm cool and then we can date and marry.

>>1512379 NTA but thank you for mentioning the name of the game, I'm not the biggest racing vidya player but I thought I'd download the demo and give it a try. Played about 30 minutes so far and it's pretty enjoyable. The visual style is nice, I like how it is kept relatively simple yet still colorful, so things aren't too overwhelming on the eyes when you really start getting fast. So far my favorite track is Skylight (?) Treetops, being able to drive on the walls of that tube is fun. I've played for about 30 minutes total, and while one could certainly argue that is not enough time to learn how to play a game, I still do find the steering/drifting to be unforgiving. If you don't drift at the right time, you will hit the walls and you will incur a point penalty, pretty much guaranteed. Each vehicle does have different stats, so this could also be because I chose to use the bike which has less handling. Maybe when I try out one of the cars the steering won't feel as difficult. This is clearly the point of the game, so it is not a criticism. I also found a glitch on one stage, the city one with all the sharp turns. If you hit a mine and explode, you could be respawned onto the track right on top of another mine, which makes you explode again before you can even move. >Her name is Tempo and she is the mascot of Project Turboblast While the pic you posted does look like a screenshot, for a moment I wondered if it was edited in some way, but after looking at the Steam page and playing the game I quickly saw that her butt really is that big, and its plastered over a multitude of billboards around the tracks. The dev certainly has some specific priorities. He isn't afraid to retweet fanart either, and has said that he doesn't mind if people make NSFW of Tempo. At first I thought he might be a furry, because sometimes they have curvy OCs they like to put into games they develop, but it seems like he just likes robot girls and huge butts.

>>1512897 >At first I thought he might be a furry well, about that...
>>1512910 The game is called grip, does that mean the cars are grippy?
>>1155721 Mario Kart DS is super comfy, we should play some on MelonDS sometime
