Squilliam Compilation 2025 Anonymous 09/29/2025 (Mon) 23:49:29 Id: d85bae No. 1801433
TL;DR Need 55 more Squilliams to complete this video >What is this? It's been an 8chan tradition to make OC from a template based on Squilliam from the SpongeBob episode "Band Geeks". >What do? Download template, open in favorite drawing/editing software and go nuts. When you're done, post it here. (640x640 resolution pls) >How long do I have? To live? Dunno. E3 is dead so presumably you've an eternity to do this compilation, but I'd prefer it be done before 2026. >Can [board] on the webring participate? Sure. >What song are you going to use? David Glen Eisley - Sweet Victory (Dosko Bounce Remix) >Is there gonna be a mosaic? I'd prefer finishing one project at a time. My focus is on the video. >Are we never gonna see another compilation again? I dunno. >vidanon is back? No. I'm not the new editor who vanished. I'm the original editor and creator of the template if you remember who that is. I think the last one I did was in 2019. It's been over a year since your vidanon editor fell off the earth, yet you're still bringing up the Squilliam compilation during awards and expos. It's sad. So although I swore off doing any more of these I'll edit together another one. >>1742033 >>1742304 >>1755594 >>1757483 >>1758679 The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I've already pilfered the vault to get started >>>/vault/946 so if you can deliver more images then I can complete it. I've attached proof it exists and I have placeholders timed with the music already so all that's needed is to swap placeholders for images. My video compression is not great; upon completion I'll upload a bigger video elsewhere so ffmpeg autists can get it under 32MB with better quality than my editing software can. Addendum: Whether you agree with this decision or not, AI-generated images have already been included since there were not enough images. I'd rather have more handmade images and that ratio is already very high, but given how long the last attempt took and how that turned out I won't shy away from expediting things a bit lest I fall off the earth before it is done.
>>1801438 Free fist template.
>>1892248 Its already added
>>1892282 I don't think he cares, he just wants to keep posting it to piss off Mark.
>>1892248 You're really quite an autistic troublemaker.
>>1892306 I think he just wants to ruin it for everyone at this point
>>1892282 It should be removed now tbh. 8moe should follow the "no shrines to vandals" policy.
Nigger remove the lazy AI slop, it doesn't even use the template.

>contribute nothing >demand removals Many such cases.
>>1898842 I'd remove it myself, but I can't.
>>1898842 I've already made a couple in the past, but have no ideas for this time, also nice (1).

>>1881488 >>1884201 >>1887674 >>1887755 Added. 1. Ignore drama. Make Squilliams. 2. I'll consider replacing AI images when enough content exists to do so. 3. In the event that it cannot be completed here's a high bitrate export of what we have thus far: https://files.catbox.moe/33vwrn.mp4 You can import that into a video editor, ungroup video from audio, replace placeholder sections with images, export video, done.
>>1899390 How about replacing some of the AI generated ones with previous-year squilliams? It'd be kind of nice to see a montage of that since this is the last squilliam compilation ever.

>>1899390 Could you try using the faster phoebe gif (3:41)? I don't think her boinging comes across well with the slow one.
Or better yet, gradually speed her up until she's lightspeed.
>>1905157 >Nosferatu That's Count Orlok.
>>1905780 Yes but the name of the movie is Nosferatu.
>>1904458 Lost. Its too bad nobody grabbed a screenshot last year of that one on the main page made from templates when you started that thread.

>>1899390 I'm also working on a remake of my speccy one from long ago.
>>1931142 I still wonder how the concept for this game started
>>1934725 I had to look it up myself because I honestly had never been able to find any info on it. >The story and concept were created by Takamine Okubo, who was also the model for the enemy character Benjamin Okubo Hikozaemon in Namco's action game " Super Extraordinary Human Bellaboman " (1988). >At the time, Nakagata had a part-time worker named Okubo, who was in a heavy metal band. Initially, Nakagata only produced music, but he soon expressed his desire to draw and plan. The proposal he wrote became the plot of this game . Okubo's original story was set in a setting where the head of a fallen warrior emerges from the grave of Taira no Masakado and takes revenge on America. The appearance of Itsukushima Shrine, the Taira clan 's patron deity, at the end of the game is thought to be a remnant of this. Nakagata thought the proposal would be rejected, but the then-president liked it and submitted it to Nintendo . However, Nintendo and Nintendo of America did not approve it, so the player's character was changed to a tengu mask, ironically suggesting that "tengu, with absolute power, is Nintendo running wild." When the American version was released, the player's character reverted to the head of a fallen warrior, but the graphics of the Statue of Liberty were changed . >Regarding this work, Nakagata said, "Normally, this project would have been stopped at some point. It was only made possible because the president liked it. The title, 'Abarenbou Tengu', was even named by the president himself." Regarding the reaction after its release, he said, "It wasn't very impressive at all. Sales were only in the tens of thousands. I think it was only after five or six years that it suddenly started to get attention. " >He also said, "The person planning it (Okubo) is serious about it. He's not doing it on purpose. Compared to other games that are intentional, Tengu is just too crazy. I don't think we'll ever be able to make a game like that again. "
>>1934839 Crazy shit, game development back then was so chaotic, even drug fueled, but that's what made it special.
