what are your opinions on power bombs? in MoF, every shot type feels pretty balanced, for better or worse. a poor shot with weak DPS can be salvaged by the bomb, every sot has the same bomb so no shot in that game feels underpowered. this can arguably make the shots feel too samey but it's also a breath of fresh air from a game where the difference between the best and worst shot type is drastic, like DDC. in SA, the game is much more cruel. you don't get 5.00 Power like you do in MoF, so you can't bomb without sacrificing some DPS, but it also stems from the games life system. the game forces you to be good a spell cards much more than other games on top of having some of the hardest spells and non spells in the series. you wanna bomb? gotta sacrifice power. you don't wanna bomb? well you better capture that spellcard or otherwise you not only lose a life but also a life piece

>>1951462 Pofv's main gameplan is to create chains and keep your screen clear, and your score high, once you get the flow of the game the difference between normal and lunatic is the amount of bullets you get in your screen, but more bullets = bigger combos, so you can use that to your advantage. IIRC the boss time of death is almost the same in all difficulties, from stage 6 to 9 you need at least to hold your ground 2 mins minimum (and Eiki would is invincible on the first round, she will not die at all unless due to pure luck she does)

AI similarly is obnoxiously perfect play and can go over fifteen minutes without getting hit once (They need to be completely trapped and have less than 2 bars of meter to get hit, any bombs available they will activate the frame before). I'd love to check but without TAS level skills there's no way to confirm it 100%.
