After some trials and tribulations, this game will release in a week. It is an updated rerelease of a game already released on PS4 and Switch several years ago, now with English text, and essentially one of the last holdouts of bishoujo ecchi-style games in retail. The game is a combination visual novel dating sim/photography simulator. You very rarely choose from several dialogue options. When in conversation, you will play a game using Gems to select a topic and try to build various love and conversation meters, or start a photo session, without accidentally ending the conversation. You will buy disposable items, pay for dates and shop for costumes and accessories. The rest of the game is taking pictures of high school girls, either in free time or with time or position restrictions. > Pictures of high school girls? Like, erotic ones?! >Actually, yes. The game has two categories of pictures - cute and excite - and a theme of the game is how closely glamour photography is tied to eroticism. >The game is razor-acutely aware of when you have taken a beautiful photo and when you have taken a sexy one. >Girls become embarrassed and will insist you not take certain angles of pictures. If too humiliated, they will abruptly leave. >At the same time, they are correctly NOT devoid of sensuality. Aside from the girls being cute, or if you just like photography or dating sims, as stated, the game is essentially one of the last holdouts of pre-"global standards" Japanese games. Despite being a PG console game, it was rejected for sale from most storefronts over content concerns. Dragami is a publisher that has openly stated their opposition to censorship imposed by DEI and other means, in unfortunate stark contrast to most of the other publishers in the Japanese industry who have embraced ethics departments and DEI policies. They have gone out of their way to hire a faithful Japanese-to-English translator for this game, which caused the usual loocalizer cliques to slander it or at least refuse to defend it when it came under fire. Most other publishers, even ones that have not openly embraced globalist-minded game development, have sadly cowed out of making these risque games, so Dragami with LoveR Kiss are practically an oasis in a desert of shitty pozzed garbage or pre-censored games. Basically, you wanted uncensored ecchi games back? You want based Japan back? Dragami and Sweet One are braving hell and high water to provide where few dare tread any more.
