I don't even remember the old tier list thread but sure, we need to get around to recreating a lot of those old threads because some were great. Here's one I made the old fashion way, and I should have created more tiers because I'm not happy with some of these sharing the same tier but I'm stubborn.

But I wouldn't call it "bad." "Into the Nexus" would also be ranked higher if I accounted for the fact that it was also a budget title, which is why it's so short. If I was taking price into account, Nexus would be right up there with A Crack in Time. I'm not playing Rift Apart because modern Insomniac is totally cucked and I'm not interested in seeing them replace Ratchet with a girl the same way they replaced Peter Parker with Miles Morales: The Ultimate Spider-Monkey.

I haven't really played Ratchet and Clank but if I ever do, at least this will help me decide where to start.

That said, I appreciate that it tries to shift things a little to almost make it feel normal if you play it single player, like how if you play as Ratchet & Clank, Clank still gets on Ratchet's back. Full Frontal Assault I just thought was pretty fun in general. Yeah, it's focused more on combat than platforming, which isn't my preference, but I can appreciate Deadlocked despite the same issue. FFA is also shorter, but it was also sold at a budget price, and came with download codes for a Vita version and Deadlocked HD. There are things I like about 2016, but ultimately it's a worse version of the original game. I hate that they removed some of the most interesting levels in the game, and almost all the new levels are boring hallways. The only new part I really liked was the big open area where you look for crystals or whatever, because I do find those levels in all the sequels to be sort of interesting little sidequests, and I don't hate adding it to the first game. But it's also not terribly interesting, and not enough to make up for removing actual good levels. Of course adding weapons, the upgrade system, and the controls from the sequels is welcome, those are also not things I actually missed when I played the original game. They're nice, but don't make up for missing content. But even then, if it was all new, that would be fine. I probably would put it over Full Frontal Assault, but it's not all new, it's mostly old levels. So when it's mostly old stuff, but not all the old stuff, and the little bits of new stuff aren't actually good, I have to rank it pretty low. But that said, I do still enjoy it. I also like the movie, and appreciate how the game ties into it. The comic is the actual underrated entry, though.
