Awesome, I was wondering if these threads would carry over. On a scale of 1 to 3edgy5me, is >Woman who bore witness to a tragic accident wherein two children in her care were slaughtered by a Pokemon, and a third was mauled. Coped by becoming obsessed with giving people slow, excruciating deaths because the childrens' deaths were so quick she didn't have a chance to process it or "say goodbye" in the moment. Now works for the mauled child who grew up into a villain as an assassin who uses Poison types to gradually kill her victims as she nurtures them with a sickly-sweet caretaker mentality Too over the top?

The operatives are all pretty over the top characters - one is effectively Revolver Ocelot, another is a surly mountain man who's built like an Ursaring, etc. But I'm trying to make them menacing in equal measure to their ridiculousness to make them fun to read.

I’ve had this idea for an evil team that wants to remove free will from humans and Pokémon and create a global hivemind, with the top brass of the team, who are all psychics, leading this hivemind as the smartest specimens of humanity. It would also be hiding in plain sight as a legitimate organization like the Aether foundation, with the team leader being the financier and board member of a prestigious organization that educates trainers as well as various programs that help those with latent psychic abilities control their abilities. The organization would work to revive a legendary Pokémon that’s a giant psychic leviathan-like eldritch abomination sealed in various texts which they will use to create a hivemind and instigate a global psi-ocracy. Basically, think like a mixture of the British Library from Read or Die mixed with Miskatonic University. The team members would mainly use psychic types, along with steel, poison, fairy, and dark types.
