The same duo that I use in every game while boxing the starter Zubat and Magikarp

Totodile's my favorite of the three, but I'm more curious to see what they do with Tepig. Grass/Fairy Meganium seems obvious and I don't know what they can do to Feraligatr without ruining the appeal, but Emboar's harder to predict. Plus, with the whole game taking place in the city, there's probably not gonna be a lot of Fire types in the dex. Doubt there's an underground volcano in the basment of the Furfrou grooming shop.

My gut says the 'dile, but depending on how the Megas look it could go either way.

Either Totodile or Chikorita. God himself could not compel me to pick Tepig.

I used Feraligatr in a recent Crystal playthrough, so honestly probably Chikorita

It's a tougher choice for me maybe compared to other anons, because I like both Tepig and Totodile. But I'm also curious to see what they do to Chikorita to make it a bit more viable. I'm leaning a bit towards Chikortia for that reason, plus I want to have whatever mega it gets right away, because it will inevitably be a slog to get the other two starters. Unless I trade some in >>345 It could be next to impossible, but I'm hoping to avoid seeing the megas before playing the game.
