How does fullchan /vp/ feel about Pokemon tabletops? If you play PTU, have you checked out any of the forks made such as Pokemon Tabletop Reunited or Pokemon Tabletop United?
I heard about them, but the only real interactions I had were some old videos by davvychappy, and another video posted like 3 or 4 weeks ago. I would consider trying a campaign out, but it is never clear how flexible or inflexible is my schedule due to my family needing help or something popping up out of nowhere
>>730 I've run PTU in the past, but that game fell apart when I tried to give the players something cool and one of them got pissy about it.
>>730 >PTU What's that? I've only played the TCG.
>>935 PTU, or Pokemon Tabletop United, is a Pokemon tabletop originally created by members of /tg/ about a decade ago and kept up to date until Gen 8 or 9 to focus on one more about tactical Pokemon combat. >>737 Scheduling issues are always the hardest part of a TTRPG. >>750 Story time us, anon?
>>968 It's nothing really interesting. A basic fighting type with a non-standard rock move, when I had already said the region had some 'mons with weird types and movepools.
>>975 Damn, that's a major case of tism. Usually players are cool with nonstandard Pokemon.
>>989 That's how it is, unfortunately. I've considered running things again, but my will to GM is shot and I'm barely getting regular writing done. Not to mention my groups have fractured apart due to time, drama, and so on.
>>968 TBH it's not even issues with schedules. it's issues in the sense of >one day I left by myself in my room and my family never asks me to do anything or help them with something >the next day suddenly my cousins come over, so I need to say hi, my nieces are over here and my mom is working so I need to take care of them, and doing homework in between taking care of them, and many other random things I can try something, but it's probably going to be during the night, where I know I won't be bothered because everyone will be asleep
