Vtuber Tabletop Thread Anonymous 08/04/2025 (Mon) 01:01:48 Id: 2763df No. 636456
Since this board is significantly slower than others (while still at least having some traffic), I'm opting to make my own thread here so that if anyone wants to chat with me about my work they can. As for what I'm doing, I'm working on a project where I turn various Vtubers into tabletop characters. I've worked on a great number of them so far (by my count over 50 in about 2 years), and currently I am in the midst of making sheets for Hololive Justice's talents. After this, I will begin work on sheets for Advent, and then will go back to working on sheets for indies. If you are at all interested in following me as I work on this project, you can find my account in the link below (I reply in-character because as you might expect from someone who's super into LORE to this extent, I highly value such things). https://x.com/DrumerThead/ If, on the other hand, you either can't or don't wish to view my work on the Elon site, I've also compiled (almost) every sheet I've worked on up to this point in the Imgur link below. Every so often I update the list and add a new batch to the pile, and when I do so I make a new gallery. https://imgur.com/gallery/CqBEBk Aside from this, if any of you have any thoughts, comments, concerns, or just otherwise would like to give me input feel free to do so, I really value viewer feedback, even if it's just for something as simple as pointing out that I misspelled something, it's happened before.
Stuff like this is exactly why I like working on my character sheet project, Vtubers have such potential for cool stories and lore that's accessible for the public, and I love that with En Holo is willing to put in the resources and effort to make this kind of stuff viable. https://youtu.be/dBS_Uodmeg0 On a related note, I've made a bit of headway into figuring out what I might do for Liz, her build at the outset seems incredibly simple but I keep getting thrown off by the fire on her chest. That said, I think I've found a class combination that might fit.
I REALLY wanted to make Liz's sheet a double spread-er like Gigi's, but it was threatening to be way more work than I have time for this week, so I'll try to compromise a bit and include some of the missing information in the lore blurb I'll include later. Anyway, so I had a hell of a time trying to figure out what, exactly, I was going to mechanically do for Liz's sheet. The biggest thing that was throwing me off was the constant blue flame that's always burning, the eponymous Bloodflame, as it were. I hm'd and haw'd over what the heck I was going to do about this very prominent artistic detail of her design, until I finally realized what it was I could do. Initially I thought that an archetype of the Kineticist would work (it's literally called Kinetic Knight), but I found the archetype too constraining for what I needed, so I just went with the basic class for 90% of the build. From there, apparently there's only one Prestige class in the entire game that's compatible with the Kineticist, so if I was going to keep my little game of having at least one level in a prestige class for each member of Justice that was going to be my pick. I'm ultimately the least invested (both emotionally and literally) in the single level dip into Flamesinger, not least of which because I think it has the least mechanical justification for being there but also because I almost felt like I had to have at least one level in Bard, and that archetype just fit the best. I also realize as I look over this sheet that I am technically missing a weakness that should have been imposed by her armor, but whatever, it's fine. https://x.com/DrumerThead/status/1956840886836613508

You know, especially with Hololive sheets I never know which ones are going to pop off and which ones won't. If you'd asked me before I did Justice which one I'd assume would get the most social media traction, I'd have probably assumed Gigi's since she's a tabletop fan. But no, apparently it's the ERB fans that have really taken a shining to it, blowing the other 3 member's entries out of the water in terms of social media engagement. It's wild, honestly.

I still have to make that secondary page that helps explain Liz's powerset more, but this will have to do for now. From here, it's on to working on Advent. I'm probably going to start with the dogs, I've already got a general idea of what I'm going to do for their build.
They look really good, I'm not familiar with this system but I admire the work you've put into them.

>>705190 Appreciate it anon, the system of choice that I use is Pathfinder 1e, it's the spiritual successor to D&D's 3.5th edition, which I would argue is the last one they did that even tried to balance the lines between being too simulationist (like what you get in GURPS) or too simplified (like what they eventually did with 5e). The system also has a pretty robust ruleset for not only making characters with just an absolutely asinine level of variety with classes but also gives you actual guidelines for how to make creatures not only from scratch, but you can even make creatures WITH class levels, which you can see for instance in Cici or Gigi's sheets. Like, if I'd want to do something similar to this in 5e for instance I'd literally have some builds ending up the exact same just because that system is SO watered down I basically wouldn't have any choice. Anyway, enough system glazing. I've searched high and low for any good picture(s) of the twins, and let me tell you finding pics of them that have their claws out and not basically laying on top of each other is a LOT harder than you'd think. Pic related is the only one I've found so far, and while I'm not totally sold due to Mococo having the mask, I might have to resort to it at the end of the day.
>>705268 Oh, nice. The mask isn't so bad though, if you have to make a concession.
A fun little two-for-one, I don't think I was properly able to get both of them made in such a way where if you actually lined them up next to each other the images would perfectly line up where one image ends the other begins. Outside of this, regarding the actual builds, I've known for a while that I was going to want to build the twins as Brawlers (for those of you that just play normal D&D they're basically like Monks that get slightly different abilities and are not required to be Lawful, though I don't actually know off hand if that's still a thing in 5e... regardless, the point is that they do Flurry of Blows in a manner very similarly to Monks). Basically every fan project and animation I've seen of the twins has shown them to be the "get on opposite sides (aka flank) a target and let loose with a flurry of strikes" sort of combat style that's incredibly difficult for people to deal with, and that style of combat is actually REALLY easy to port to tabletop, who knew! The real question became how, exactly, I'd make them, and if I would just go about it the "easy way" and just have both of them be complete carbon copies of each other. Ultimately I decided to sort of split the difference a bit and make them mostly similar, but just different enough that there was a justification for separate sheets. Fuwawa's build is a bit tanker in HP (fluffier) and is more of a supporting role, while Mococo's a little bit more spastic and attention-seeking (WHAT ABOUT MOCOCO?!), drawing enemy melee attacks away from others and towards her higher AC. Probably the most contentious part of both of these statlines, however, will be the bit of creative liberty I'm going to be taking with all of Advent. I haven't actually mentioned it in this thread specifically, but due in part to Pathfinder just not having a good corollary for what a "Demon Guard Dog" is, the very intentionally mysterious nature of Advent as a whole, and most specifically the very sus backstory that Shiori in particular has, and I really could not resist myself in going a teensy bit off script and "retcon"ing the twins as Celestials instead of Demons, angelic figures who used to be Demon Guards, true, but more in the sense that they guarded AGAINST the Demons, not AS Demons. The question then becomes "okay, well why do they call themselves that, then?", to which Shiori quickly becomes the easiest fall guy to turn into an even bigger villain than the official Holo narrative has already made her. I just hope that, on the off chance she sees it, that it doesn't hurt her feelings when I get to hers and I've made her into some kind of diabolical mastermind.
>>636456 Do you have any for Phase members?
>>728618 I haven't looked into Phase yet honestly, mostly out of ignorance over their members than anything else. The only one I know anything about is Pippa, whose whole gimmick is just "is a rabbit", which I usually need just a liiiiittle more to go on before my creative juices start flowing.
>>728404 You should post this here >>>/baubau/5689
>>731820 Done, though I messed up the link so someone else had to fix it for me. Whoops
>>731820 I took longer than I wanted to make this one, partly because I was trying to find a good time to ask her for her opinion and partly because I was in one of those "okay so, like, it's done, right? And there's nothing else you want to do here?" sort of moods where by all accounts you should be good, but despite that it doesn't feel like enough. You know? I dunno, anyway it doesn't matter. What's important is that it's done, not sure if I'm going to make a lore entry for this one like I did for the twins, if anything I'm probably going to save it for later.

>>770226 Bijou is officially the first holomem to acknowledge one of my sheets. Glory be to the rock, hallowed be her name.
Nerissa's is actually probably one of the easiest sheets I've done in a while. Basically everything about her slots neatly into existing tabletop mechanics, and the only thing I had to fudge is literally just the fact that in PF canon Strix have jet black skin, while Nerissa is one of the palest girls in Holo. Chalk it up to Demon genetics, it'll be fine. I also wrote a new entry for Biboo and Nerissa, there wasn't enough to say about the former to write an entire entry for, so I added a bit of info about Nerissa as well to round it out and fill the page.

Cool thread and project!
>>790482 >>799721 Appreciate it, both of you! I'm doing Shiori's this week, so far this art seems like the best fit I've found for her pinup: https://x.com/HuemarTanuki/status/1932607724728336414
I usually try to take the most conservative approach to the creation of my sheets, and for the simple sake of not wanting to over-inflate things I try to employ the most minimally applicable stats as I can to justify stats. I say all of this to preclude the fact that by my analysis of Shiori's lore, I could not force it within any level of justifiable logic to make her anything other than a level 20 Wizard with the Immortality discovery. There's just way too many questions, and every instance she appears in she's shown to be in full control of the situation, and as the "boss" of Advent she by that logic has to be stronger than the entirety of the rest of her group.
(77.19 KB 638x600 Shiori_like.png)

>>806796 Well that was fast.
I had a bit of difficulty working out what I should do for the art. On the one hand, Girutea is a goated artist and I basically knew going into this I'd use one of his works for it. On the other, this image was so busy it was really hard to justify cutting anything to make it more "seamless", so ultimately I just put it through a filter that made the border semi-transparent and called it a day.
(1.63 MB 1139x1473 Para's Bestiary Page final.png)

Honestly thank god for the Oracle class, it's basically the only class in the whole game that allows for options that sound like they suck but then have hidden benefits. Almost every other class in the game is just "you're super awesome and special in X way", which I get but still.
Wasn't entirely sure until late into the process on what I was going to do for Beri's stats. Her lore video was fairly simple, and when I asked her she seemed pretty humble about it. Eventually I got a spark of inspiration and came up with this, but it did mean doing a bit of reaching.
Not tabletop per say, but I think I'll make a sheet for Amazing Plibbit in ARK Survival Evolved. Plibbit A green hair woman implied by the name to be a frog planet. Defense: Sometimes has allied beasts to provide support, and pull aggro. Offense: Hand to hand weaponry. Often seeks to battle with fearless fury despite insurmountable odds. Statistics: Swims, low light vision, taming beasts, speaking millennial, tracking, crafting, gathering wild food, rapid respawning. Ecology: Tropical marshy lands. Special abilities: Cannot back down from a fight, respawns if killed, has no attachment to any particular area, doesn't fear leaving home, willing to die to get what they want. Two years ago Plibbit for whatever reason decided to play ARK Survival Evolved. Very much like the Ankleosaurus Plibbit was not very fast, and preferred to fight with the strength of their muscle only to die off in the marshy tropics. Plibbit found remnants of previous civilizations not unlike her own in the travels Plibbit made. Plibbit had built a straw house, but did not seem attached to the settlement Plibbit made, and decided to travel onward despite it having costed Plibbit many lives. Plibbit never returned to ARK Survival Evolved after her total defeat despite having been a good sport about the many instant loss moments the game through her way.
Took a little break from the more difficult streamers to make an All American Gal. I haven't had the opportunity to make many just straight up Fighters yet, I was debating over whether or not I was going to make her a Trench Fighter since she's supposed to be styled after a WW1 war horse, but based off of her presentation she seemed more like a Captain America sort of symbolic leader more than someone actually in the trenches herself getting blown up by mortars. Plus I dumped her Dex so the archetype actually wouldn't do much for me mechanically.
>>949435 Is that the new Phase girl?
>>949561 I doubt anyone from Phase would ever give a proper ARK job. There's not much sense in giving one live on stream.
A little two-for-one special and a brief return to the Southside crew. Bodega is another one of those streamers that technically HAS lore, but not a whole lot of it actually relates to anything combat-related, so I was once again given free reign to sort of do whatever I wanted. By all accounts, the build here is a lot weaker than if I'd just stuck with one class for all 6 levels, but I just liked the 50/50 split I got from this one.
>>949607 Gotcha, then I'll be honest I'm not super aware of which streamer your ARK concept is referencing, unless it's her: https://x.com/AmazingPlibbit
I've been psyching myself out of doing this one for a while now, if I'm being perfectly honest. Matara has long been the kind of woman that seems very confident not only in herself as a person but also as a brand, and as someone who is trying his best to respect the IP of everyone I make one of these for, that kind of "mastery" over what exactly you're about REALLY makes me want to not mess it up. Funnily enough, she appears to be going through an anniversary period right now, so there's a real possibility that this may be a repeat of the Bao incident that happened pretty early on in me doing this where a big name streamer does a full deep dive on stream of my work. If I'm wrong and that doesn't happen then oh well, but I'll try to prepare myself for if it does.
I feel slightly bad about copying the same methods that I utilized for an earlier sheet (i.e. Jowol's), but I can't deny the results. I was debating shrinking the image to include a blurb below but when I asked Michi about her lore she said there was going to be a Part 2 of it at some point in the future so I figured I'd keep it to what we know based on the first video from her Vshojo debut.
I've been trying to figure out a good system to use for a vtuber TTRPG, something I just just reskin and homebrew some stuff with. I feel like my best options are Fabula Ultima or Sword World, my reasoning being one is very weeby and the other is very Japanese so they fulfill a lot of weeby standards.
>>990130 Part of the issue, I find, with trying to nail down a specific system is the sheer disparity between power scales. You've got some streamers that just want to be a basic animal girl, and then you've got others that want to be "Zorthog destroyer of worlds" (who is also an animal girl teehee). Trying to find a balance there is tough, and even with me using Pathfinder 1e, a system that I am extremely well acquainted with, even I sometimes find it difficult to find that balance.
>>991590 I mean, it all depends I guess. Some superhero games handle varying power levels pretty decently, maybe that would work. Like Prowlers and Paragons maybe, I dunno.
I had a bit of a range of power that I could make Shia, but given that he seems to describe himself as a sort of "up and coming talent" on the Vchiban website I figured it was fitting to keep him a bit lower level to match.
(1.41 MB 1065x1378 Eros's Bestiary Page final.png)

Always nice when there's already a preexisting creature that you can just slot a streamer into with barely any changes.
