Getting back on topic, Sayu is just an enigma in terms of what she views as a "home". I don't mean like a physical property, losing out on it definitely sucks when she had IRL streams of painting the walls and hopefully she kept receipts to show to a Californian lawyer or something. But whenever she talks about "never feeling like she had a home at NOA 5 months in", I just don't know what she means by that. It's not just a friend group, it's a job that they're all investing time in so that the company can hopefully grow, stick around longer and hopefully attract more talents to grow and attract future investors. Does she view "home" as something that she thinks will provide structure like a 9-5 or something, does she want to join a pre-established company for this reason?
It's not like she was a complete pariah left at the stake prior to this, she had people reaching out to her from IdolEN and Phase Connect. She even made contacts in high places like Silvervale and Fillian, she even got swag kits from companies like Atlus when it came time to promoting Persona 3 Reload. And that's not even getting to people like Rennie that really stuck around with her thick and thin, along with IRL friends she mentions having. If she views "home" as a friend group then it seems like she already had one.
