God that movie was terrible. Gave me a headache with all the mismatched visuals. It was fun watching it with chat & Pips, but it's totally a borefest when watched alone I'm sure. Looking through a couple panels from the comic this movie adapted, it's a crime how much color and soul they sapped out of the artstyle to try to appeal to Matrixbros. I actually want to check out the Nikopoli Trilogy to cleanse my pallet and replace my memory of this movie.
I already know how it is with Pippa and her takes. I don't go to her to hang with a vtuber who shares my interest. Really, she's better if you got the open mind to listen to a different perspective no matter how silly it sounds. And some of her in-depth reasonings she gave tonight were indeed interesting.
Good stream. Good yap. Terrible movie/10

She said that when comparing Pokemon and Digimon, trying to think of what Digimon is missing. She prefers the escapism of Pokemon. Fair, I like Pokemon for that too, but some of Digimon's best moments involve human characters facing and overcoming their personal problems. I wouldn't want that to change for a wider audience. I think Digimon is recently coming into its own, anyway. Might not be as big as Pokemon, but it's building back up its own solid fanbase, through its own strengths.
