rate wrestlemania
5/10 Not the worst. But not good. First half of Night 2 was really good, full of energy. But it dissipated in the second half. Night 1 ranged from dogshit to "fine".
>>152093 It wasn't HHH fault. Its Rocks fault and also Endeavor for enabling that faggot.
very boring
>>152070 Overall probably a 7. Night two was like 8.5. The main event of night one was much more exciting than night two though. But there wasn't anything on the show that just totally sucked. Night two in particular had some incredible wrestling.

>Night 1 A bunch of okay matches that felt like they could've been on Raw. Charlotte sandbagging and stiffing Tiffany while breaking her tooth because she was clearly butthurt over losing was the only reason their match kept my attention. Best wrestling match was Naomi vs Cargill and that was 90% Naomi's effort and 10% Jade's shoot strength; main event was entertaining but emblematic of WWE's main events becoming Hype Moments & Aura over actual wrestling. 4.5/10 >Night 2 Fantastic three-match stretch to start, MOTN opener and two great midcard matches of different flavors, Orton vs Hendry was genuinely fun if you ignore that it made TNA's champ look like a chump. Logan Paul had a worse Mania Styles match than Shane McMahon that went on 10 minutes too long and killed all the energy in the arena, Becky returned after 11 months and had a mediocre TV-tier match, and Stone Cold nearly killed someone in an ATV. Main event had an incredible Cena performance ruined by a mid Cody performance and fucking Travis Scott but at least he got #17. 7/10 >>152116 >But there wasn't anything on the show that just totally sucked. Styles/Paul sucked. It was genuinely worse than anything on Night 1.
>>152123 >Styles/Paul sucked. It was genuinely worse than anything on Night 1. I was underwhelmed by that one too.
>>152104 I think Haitch deserves some blame, especially for the lack of energy and planning at the midcard level. Dwayne deserves blame for once again throwing dynamite into the main event scene, forcing major changes of plans, then no showing completely after Elimination Chamber. I will also assign some blame to Cena for not doing more, taking an immediate two week break after the Chamber, and giving generic, crowd-blaming promos instead of explaining why he sided with the Rock.
Watching NBA Playoffs for the next few months instead/10
>>152129 I agree. I liked WrestleMania overall, but I hope they learn what worked and what didn't and improve next year's show.
My weekend is wasted and wrestling is ruined. I only really genuinely enjoyed Iyo/Bianca/Rhea.
8/10 because of liv
>>152129 I like the mid cards The biggest problem is the main event matches, all the contenders of the champs have been totally garbage
>>152070 Like a 6/10. There were good matches, but this definitely isn't the sort of 'mania that you could rewatch. The main-event has me bewildered. If you look at the pieces they were working with, it had the potential to be legendary.
>>152179 The F4W recap summarizes the main event well >A match laid out for children.
>>152070 KWABY/10
>>152070 Having Travis Scott come out as some sort of a threat took me completely out of the match. In what universe is he believable as a threat to a fucking wrestler?
>>152093 He's an entrance fag and turned the entire show into entrance faggotry. Him and the karaoke dork fans who hijacked the show since 2013.
>>152251 I think it makes it special when you save it for only once a year and everyone gets a very cool entrance
really wonder what went so wrong. seems like internal conflict with the rock. plus steve almost ran over a bitch. him and bret did not look happy to be there. lots of last minute scrambles?
>>152070 I think Travis Scott is shoot special ed.
>>152070 bad show
It's impressive how fucking dogshit big match john's "heel" turn continues to be. Like a trainwreck that relaunches itself to crash over and over.
>>152292 Cena's been handed dogshit his entire career and he just does his best to make it work. He's been given generic heel promos and barely any appearances but I do think he's done a great job embodying this "fuck you I didn't change I'm just tired of you all" character.
>>152070 Cena lost all credibility for me after he jobbed to half the roster for the past 10 year. I'd rather anyone else take Cody's title
>>152123 >>152128 For how much we all love BigBibble AJ, he have an horrendous streak of boring/disappointing matches on WM If your best WMs were the one of the fucking Boneyard Main Event (kino, but not actual wrestling), and the one of the random midcard tag team match, then it's fucking dire
7/10 probably. Night 1 was like 3 at best, night 2 about 8.
>>152070 0/10 All 2 day manias are cancer.
Select couple of good matches but the entire thing was a meh/10. This entire year showed us that a corporation running the WWE hurts the quality of the show. The amount of advertising is really getting annoying. I don't like AEW but Tony will have a 10 card show and just keep going match to match and not have 20 minute ad breaks. It really feels like the WWE is giving us the minimum product for the maximum revenue and out of control ticket prices.
I knew things were going to be a disaster when Stone Cold showed up to announce the attendance. They would not have him do that then having him show up in the last match it would ruin the surprise. If it wasn't for Joe Hendry I would have called night 2 a disaster
>>152311 Don't forget his match with Shane.
>>152334 Yeah that was a good one
>>152070 dogshit the Cena heel turn has been a complete flop. Dude couldn't even be bothered to put together a new attire or music. And no the bullshit cope "its so heel to not change anything!!" doesn't work. Couldn't be bothered to show up for weekly TV enough to properly build this feud. The win was a total wetfart finish. Who gives a shit about 17 at this point? Only ones who care are his faggot fanboys. Not to mention Travis Scott being the big interference and not the Rock. Genuinely the shittiest Mania in many years.
>>152292 John heard the "you can't wrestle" allegations and decided to prove them right >>152293 Nice cope. There's zero chance Cena isn't heavily involved when deciding anything he's going to say on TV.
>>152123 >incredible Cena performance LOL
>>152293 Not nearly enough. I don't give a fuck if Cena has been handed dogshit his whole life, he is consistently failing to deliver. I was disgusted personally by the blatant sheep crowd in Vegas cheering for someone who has audibly said he all but hates his audience and just can't but helped be pissed off at it. If the guy who is supposed to be a heel is getting cheered, regardless of legacy and nostalgia, what the FUCK are you doing? I would've had Cena cut a promo right there and just utterly lay into the crowd, insult them, demanding them to not cheer for them because he's disgusted by them, anything with vitriol to get them pissed off. Because if it's one thing even these sheep hate, it's the fact that they "don't feel appreciated for all the support they've given to their favorite", as if each single one feels like they alone are what gave rise to his career. Granted, in this scenario I also would've booked Cody to win because why the fuck would you not have your face win at Mania, and also not have a literal fucking fan with super money show up to make YOUR MEGA FACE LOSE THE MATCH. This whole feud has been so fucking stupid and it just seems like WWE just wants to keep diving their face in the money, pretend critics don't exist, and just treat their audience like idiots. And with a crowd like Vegas: are they even wrong to do so?
6,5/10
