Since the WWE has been pretty petty towards AEW the last week, why doesn't Tony give Ric Flair the title, immediately drop it and then immediately have him get it again so he is on top again? He is still contracted with AEW. This would be a good idea and funny.
>>153862 It's not even accurate anyway, right? Doesn't WWE pick and choose which world titles it counts. I am pretty sure neither Cena or Flair were at 16 titles before Mania anyway.
>>153867 I believe Flair is at over 16.
That would be even more petty than the original move. AEW has moved away from trying to spitball WWE a long time ago.
Cenas is only wwe. Flair was in lots of different promotions which in my opinion means more. He was over in many territories and companies. He wasn't just a good politician in one company so got handed everything like Hollywood shill Zin Xena

>>153862 But flair himself says he’s actually a 21 time champion but since WWE is the “authority” on pro wrestling everyone just buys into 16 times champion. Even though Ric’s should know better than everyone else about his own career title wins.

>>153862 >76 year old man, with 50 years of combined tenure, who has retired 3 times in his life, makes another comeback to win the main title of the company while basically looking like dried prune one false step away from a wheelchair or a heart attack Book it Tony, you coward, book it I mean
>>153862 >Have him have a shock violent bloody win against Mox via everyone in the locker room at war with each other >Shafir challenges the next week asking if a legend like Flair is too afraid to fight a girl. Flair is a horndog to shafir it and accepts “Right here, right now” and gets killed by her. She becomes the first female AEW champion. >Mox forces her to lay down either later the night or the next week and becomes champion >Ric challenges Mox in a cage in his “Retirement match” promoted heavily by Mox as an execution (retirement from life) and wins via help from Shafir 18 times. Not sure what you even do to get the title off him afterwards though but Christian taking advantage here makes sense. Not like anyone can be seen as legitimate taking the belt from Ric.
>>153891 >Ric wins belt >Ric Flair comes out with Mercedez and does the stupid CEO dance >challenges whoever the fuck is holding the Intercontinental champion >match ensues where opponent basically does the finger poke of doom but with a fist to their own face >Double-champ Ric! >CEO plays for no reason and Ric dances
