Stumbled upon this again, I called this "the best thing westerners ever did". Which isn't a high plank at all. I've seen a video of it on nicovideo, probably a superiour way to read this. Speaking of western things, there was this tiny free visual novel made by some guy on deviantart. I remember that it was pretty cozy, I know it featured Utsuho among other girls. It is probably still somewhere in my bookmarks, I will probably even find it again if I click through every single one for a month. If it wasn't deleted yet, of course. There was an edgy story made in walfas on youtube, about a guy who got in Gensoukyou and made worst decisions possible, probably started a war through sheer stupidity. It was pretty long and pretty interesting. Again, I don't remember the name, but I think I have seen it being mentioned on tvtropes somewhere. The rest are text only fanfics. Haven't read many of them. Many are rpg threads, there are archives of them, some of them were in russian. The most memorable one for me was actually a parody of them, it was about a guy who found Ran's hat, which made him powerful but also slowly destroyed his brain. The writing was good, but the options for the story to continue were absolutely insane. Giant contrast with the other biggest "serious business" rpg that was going on at that time, where you had to actually argument your choices for some reason. About japanese things, which are obliviously the main meal, check out danbooru pools. There is a lot of gold in there. Plus nicovideo vids, but only 0.05% of them are translated.
