an old pixiv user by the name of "phlog" made very well done mod for RE2 remake. a few years ago they purged all of their content and accounts. the mod was lost to everyone, so i ask if anyone out there still has a copy of it.

To fix it, download the RE2R Ultimate Trainer by Raz0r and disable blood stains. You'll need the fluffy mod manager to install.
