You are a limitless potential for good, if you were ever in a position to make a decision that would benefit Britons or prevent harm to them I'm sure you would make the correct decision. There's a limitless number of positions you could fill where we need someone like you there. Right now focusing on making yourself worthy for those positions whether it be in three years, five years or a decade is a worthy pursuit. Go to Uni, move to the city, join whatever program and get whatever license you need just do it.
The highest good is to fulfil the roles you were born into. A good man by definition fulfils male roles of being a provider, loving father and loyal husband. How you fully actualize yourself is already decided by your very being, by being a son you have a responsibility to your father and by being English a responsibility to your country. This is all laid out for you already, be a good member of your family, be a good provider and be a good husband to a women. You cannot pursue one while neglecting the others.
You can never go wrong with just learning more about the world and how it works and our place in it. You have no right to be despondent when you have no idea what the future holds or how the past played out.
The book is just a lefty activism manual, I think it's Beautiful Trouble
