You can mix and match to taste. Not every artist has a ton of stuff on Danbooru, and the slop machine plays better with some tags than others. Might have to re-roll a lot to get something workable. Also, if you're having trouble with backgrounds, it's probably either bad tags or certain artist tags. Inpaint tool is your friend. Try adding stuff like absurdres/highres/highest quality/detailed background to your prompt, and for undesired content, add stuff like lowres/low quality/error/bad anatomy. You can use picrels' metadata for that.
