I had a bit more free time today so I could do the back half of the EX stages. 5 thru 7 were nothing of note except for the EX 7 sneks that hit like a truck, wtf.
EX-8-CM, ho boy. At least I get Bena to jeer at me from the bench until morale improves.
So the opener has some RNG already because I need a few QB binds or she'll leak before Leizi is deployed. We have Ines to down facing left to farm some more much needed DP on the west edge crystals spawned by Zubayr.
Meanwhile, we set up a checkered formation to minimize cross damage on the right and take care of all the mobs phase 1, as well as all the crystals we can remove without Zub renewing them.
Before phase 2, we replace Ines with Degenpipi who'll be doing most of the damage, making sure to split box into Leizi range.
While phase 2 begins, we plop down FW, Ines, top row crystal clear and Eijalt S3 for good measure because we absolutely need the crystal cart dead and I have literally no one else. I need EVERY single crystal gone before Zub uses his powered up splash or people will die.
I also place a pure crystal on the edge of QB's range so she can remove the airdropped ones on the right.
The mummies hit like a freight train so I use Beesex's statue buffed by NCD to buy some time. Czerny eventually dies and random bullshit goes. I use NCD again in the nick of time and believe that might've saved QB. Gitano and Earthspirit make their contribution by eating Zub crosses outside of medic range so that QB doesn't get murdered.
Eventually Degen dies but Zub is the only one remaining and he's unable to kill anyone without overlapping cross damage or support.
My brain is very expanded right now and I need for it to cool down before tackling the S stages.
TL;DR: NCD good????? Probably. Quercus would've been technically better but it wouldn't have made me feel alive with most of my team at 20% HP.
