con day1 3 previously known people, 2 new faces. 2 cosplayers approached. Sonetto and Regulus. We tried to talk to a Vertin cosplayer (male), but he kind of told us to get lost and was never seen again. Wasn't interested in joining our community either. Didn't pay attention at all. Odd. It felt really weird because right before that one of the girls had been asked about her Limbus keychains and pins which led to some other Limbab inviting her to their own DC server, and we tried doing the same for ours, which ended up backfiring horribly. Basically nothing from vendors and artists, just the previous stickers from the same girl. Supposedly one of today's cosplayers is supposed to bring stickers to give away to people who recognise the character. Nobody asked me about Sonendo, nobody asked me about my other franchise plushie either.

con day2 after action report I had stuff to do after coming back and quickly passed out once it was over so here's the belated rest Unsurprisingly, there wasn't anything more. Cosplay and artist-wise, total UmaMusu and Mihoyo domination. Unexpected sights included HypMic's female trio and a cosplay of Konata cosplaying as Haruhi. There was an R-18 artist zone and, again, to nobody's surprise perhaps, the art was overwhelmingly yaoi and cosplayers trying to sell their photos or advertise OnlyFans. Not much solo women, not much yuri (basically nothing), not much straight content. Even furries weren't that common there. And no, I couldn't find any +18 R:1999 content there. The most bizarre thing of this whole con was a vendor selling their hardcore yaoi of Disco Elysium and MULTIPLE Disco Elysium cosplayers (mostly crossdressing girls) in awe. There could be more but when I was there it was like 7 different people "appreciating" the high art. I have to admit it was pretty well done, especially when compared to the rest of the art there. The weird Vertin cosplayer from the previous day wasn't present again, but there was someone who looked and acted similar and this time he was in a cosplay of... Ezio. Yes, even specifically early AC2 Ezio. Insane. During my general upcoming or recently released gachas panel out of like 50 people only 2 have heard of R1999 before, excluding me. GFL and LADS weren't that popular either which seemed even weirder. I got the stickers at least. I think they're just cut out from these introduction comics, but hey, it was free and almost definitely done by somebody who's too young to understand why that's a bad thing.
