I started playing this game a few days ago after seeing it on the God-Emperor of gaming Soda >!poppin!< 's stream Got EVE with some of the initial freebies. Can I just roll every time I like a character or are there times when it's better to save? Anything I should be saving for in the near future? Should I roll on Raven? I'm assuming Banners have standard gacha rulse with pity carry over etc.

Those are released on the anniversaries. You just missed the 2.5 anniversary. The 3rd is in late October and will likely debut another broken Nikke. Both Eve and Raven are currently mid. Raven has some kind of bug that's getting fixed as we speak and her evaluation is still pending. Take into account that you cannot use Abnormal (collab) Nikkes for the 4 towers (Tetra, Missilis, Pilgrim, Elysion) when rolling for them. If you dont care about being a collection fag for Collabs then feel free to save on those as well. Never Pull on 1% Banners (Pilgrims and Overspecs). They are never worth it and you should instead use your Gold tickets you gain from other banners to grab them. If you love a normal event character's banner feel free to pull on it but make sure you really want her. Pity isnt a thing but you get 1 gold ticket for each pull on the Character banners. 200 Golds means 1 copy of the banner unit. Also i would recommend rerolling your account untill you have one of Red Hood Rapi, Crown, or Red Hood. Or even Scarlet Black Shadow.

>>574863 The usual strat for F2P is to skip "normal" banners and save for limited events (for example, the Summer one that is near). Some of the normal banners are good or you might like the character, so you can drop rolls on them. During the anniversaries (April and November) they release strong units, but their rates are lower. There are two mechanics other than rolling on banners to get units: a wishlist so you can get non-limited units when their banner is over (you get blue tickets to roll on the standard banner which uses this wishlist) and golden tickets you get from rolling on the featured banner (1 ticket per roll, 200 tickets is a guaranteed character, they carry over and you can hoard them). It's recommended to use these golden tickets on anniversaries for the lower rate units or during limited units if you're a lucklet and fail to get the character with rolls.

God the part 2 of the event is good, it's what made me like the world of Nikke to begin with.

>>574936 Yeah, normal banners are the ones we get every 2 weeks and it's tied to a 2 week event. Limited banners happen every few months and they are 3 week events like collabs, Summer and Christmas. Then the Pilgrim banners happen twice a year during anniversaries (also 3 weeks). Normal and limited banners have a 2% rate. Pilgrims have a 1% rate, but they aren't limited and you can put them in your wishlist. However they are usually the strongest characters and the 1% rate is brutal, so people would rather roll or ticket then during their event instead of wishlisting them.

You get silver tickets for pulls on it. usually usefull to get Extra bodies. I would also recommend getting the daily half off pull pre 160 wall.
