This board is dedicated to all manner of outdoor activities. This includes but is not limited to: camping, hiking, gardening, hunting, fishing, homesteading, outdoor building projects, tobacco smoking, etc, and anything related to those subjects. Remember, if you're running into other people, you're not far out enough.

>>3 I planted some asparagus a few years back thinking that it would seed others or sprout up more shoots like how raspberries do but nope. Just those handful of shoots and thats still it all these years later. Glad it's still alive though even though I don't eat it.
>>4 what kind of trees do you have? i have a cherry tree whose bark cracks every now and again in early winter never bothered doing anything since the cracks arent that big, a decimeter or two the longest i've seen last year one of its four trunks suddenly died, not sure why but probably unrelated

>>7 All of the trees ive had that have had that problem all died so I dont have a good example right now but I have pic related. Its black because I tossed some tree paint on there to contain it but yeah. Some of it started out as a bit of damage from my cat but some of that didnt. Im wondering if I should just completely wrap up my trees trunks for the winter.

Climbing #1 Anonymous 04/22/2025 (Tue) 17:59:06 No. 6 [Reply] >>10
With 4chan dead and with this board only having 3 posts its a long shot but maybe we can get the ball rolling Help out by sharing trip reports, photos, advice, etc. A place to talk about outdoor climbing in any aspect (trad, sport, bouldering, aid, alpine, etc). Climbing is inherently dangerous but so are lots of things. Climb at your own risk.
/out/ is cool but climbers should fall
>>6 (OP) Ok I'm up here but now how do I get down?
