Ever since 4chan have been proven to be run by government professors; I think 8chan have a chance to be the new hub for all the refugees. But the Admin need to take the step to make that happen. There are too many boards on this website. Many of these boards have similar topics and theme but only differentiated by oddly specific details. These oddly specific boards causes a lot of users to be spread out. So, a lot of threads get no engagement because everyone are too occupied with their oddly specific themes. Leading barely anyone getting any engagement. I think Admin need to remove many boards and start organizing board based on popular theme, genre and topic that are neither too general but not oddly specific either. Some suggestion: /ck/ - (Cooking) Artistically and other things like what should I feed my children or how should I make something interesting for my children to eat. /fit/ - (Fitness) dietary and physical activities; what should I eat during a flu or how should I correct my bone alignment, what supplement are good for your, etc. /b/ - (Random) Anything from asking about porn to taking about internet drama; thread can dance around a topic as long it doesn't some another topic and all topic are allowed to be discussed unless some topic who have their containment board only be discussed on those boards /otaku/ - Discuss culture that originated, successor of or evolution of the 1980-2005 Japanese media /pol/ - Discuss politics and philosophy /his/ - Discuss history /tv/ - Movies, series, and celeb drama /str/ - Streaming; can have everything related to streaming /k/ - Weapon and warfare /news/ - Discuss event that doesn't have huge political implication but are in instance /int/ - discuss geopolitics and international culture /biz/ - discuss about the stock market and anything commercial related /v/ - Videogames /pv/ - party games like card game; online multiplayer games and board games Many of these boards have can overall lapping topics. But they are only few specific topics. And every other board that is not general in nature like them should be removed. Like how there are boards for specifically a type of porn or fetish. I hope we can cooperate on this.
