>>79194 My comfyui setup kept breaking too but it was comfyui desktop (windows) I had updates turned off but it kept breaking itself anyway. I didn't confirm but i suspect turning auto updates off in the settings only stops the basic launcher from updating, everything else from the nodes to the dependencies would still check for updates automatically and download them on launch. The only solution I found was reinstalling everything and adding comfyui's python.exe to my firewall to cut it off from the internet. otherwise it would just break itself over and over again. I also firewalled comfyui.exe for good measure. Not much of a solution because now i cant add new nodes to the thing but it has been working so far. I only ever used comfyui as an image tagger so the offline single function program mode suits my use case well. I dont think this is a problem for the git install, but i tried installing my image tagger on that and it just didn't work because I guess the backend of that version is more up to date than the desktop version and my image tagger hasn't been updated since 2024 i think so I didn't have any other options.

Bizarrely, Flash Attention has made a sampler that never worked properly actually function kind of.
